When we purchased a partially restored 18th Century stone farm house, we engaged Ben Walbert for two reasons. First, he is a preeminent architect when it comes to historic properties. Second, from our first meetings, he demonstrated not only superior problem-solving and collaborative skills, but he was willing to listen to our ideas and priorities. We are thoroughly delighted with the result of his design, but we are also grateful for all he taught us along the way. We would recommend him without reservation.

Ben Walbert is the best in class for architecture, design , and construction sequence and modifications. He has a pragmatic approach and excellent insight into construction issues and cost Trade offs. Attention to detail and expert consultations make him a valuable addition to your construction team. He has an unassuming, easy going personality and is always respectful. He gives undivided attention to the client and doesn't leave until the job is done.

Benjamin L. Walbert Architects exceeded our expectations when they designed period-appropriate exterior modifications to our 200-year-old stone farmhouse and a stunning three-car garage. In developing the plans, they incorporated our desire to re-purpose materials from a barn we had taken down, as well as our hope that, in the end, our property would look as if it had always been this way. We could not be more pleased with the outcome.
