Architecture | Design | Alliance was formed in 1990 when designer Philip deVries and his firm, deVries Design, expanded through the partnership of architect Kevin McQueen. Leveraging combined backgrounds in multifaceted design and construction technology, these co-founders created a singular design company equipped to provide a boutique service in the areas of residential and commercial architecture, product design, and corporate identity. Today, Architecture | Design | Alliance, LLC has evolved into a full-service Architectural Firm while remaining true to its heritage of being a boutique size, diversified practice. Under the tutelage of Kevin McQueen, A|D|A continues to enjoy a reputation of providing a dedicated service to their Connecticut and New York clients. A product of continual advancement, Architecture | Design | Alliance has decades of collective hands-on architectural experience backing every project. Such a record of custom homes, restaurants, and commercial facilities, including office and retail buildings allows for the seamless integration of tried-and-true sustainable practices and state-of-the-art technology. By carefully analyzing each component of a project’s functional and aesthetic requirements, budgetary and cost constraints, site and environmental conditions, and the overall communities into which structures must blend, we are committed to creating architecture that is unique, individualized, and specifically appropriate for its use and purpose. Our diverse clientele includes a wide range of institutions, corporations, municipalities, developers, and private concerns in Connecticut and New York. We have successfully completed numerous projects for one of New York City’s preeminent family-owned real estate development companies and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, our specialization in workplace wellness facilities has earned the business of repeat clients such as the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Moreover, we are grateful to have designed a Mountaintop Villa for a private Client in Costa Rica and the interiors of a modern residence in Normandy, France.
