Having looked far and wide for my requirements, it was apparent the design didn’t exist. Matthew and Thomas were able to bring my dream wardrobe to life. They were professional and attentive, even with last minute changes they were understanding. I can’t wait for my new project to work with them. It’s a fun creative process!

We approached Matthew Thomas for ideas for fitted wardrobes, lounge unit, kitchen island and radiator covers for our new home. We valued their willingness to work with us to shape and develop our ideas; Matthew and the team then turned these into bespoke designs to fit the space available. Throughout the whole process the professional approach, regular updates and checking at each stage ensured the highest quality of the finished work. The team were courteous, respectful and professional while working in our home. The high level of craft skill, workmanship and perfection they set themselves came through in the finished pieces which have added the additional storage and focal pieces we wanted, Very highly recommended and we will use them for future projects.

Initial searches for local businesses to revamp my wardrobes and storage, the website for Thomas Matthew Handmade furniture stood out. This was supported in discussion with Matthew who took on board what I was looking for and designed an upgrade to the outdated wardrobes with increased storage and a lovely streamlined look. From design through the fitting, Matthew and Kyle were a pleasure to work with, adjusting as required to ensure a precision fitting. In addition to undertaking work for me, Matthew also designed and installed new wardrobe and side units for my parents - ensuring disabled access was maintained and supported. Delighted to have found a local firm who takes complete pride in their work - and works with the customer to deliver an extremely high quality product.

We are delighted with their skill and workmanship in building a lovely kitchen peninsula according to our initial rough sketches!! We knew what we wanted - storage, wine and gin display and eat on counter - and they made it happen ! Looks absolutely fabulous ! All installed with no mess, the utmost professionalism and not costing us an arm and a leg ! At No 19

I have now completed 7 projects with Thomas Matthew and their affiliate company MSO Joinery. As a busy interior designer I need to work with trades I can trust, who are thoughtful and courteous to my clients, deliver on time, within budget and exceed expectations. All of this and more can be said of these two companies. Matthew never fails to understand that the work they are doing for me is generally only part of a much bigger project and any slippage in timing affects other trades and the schedule in general, this is a rare quality. He and the guys he employs all did their apprenticeships together, they have therefore worked as a team for years, are a known quantity and perform as a finely oiled machine. My professional life became a whole lot easier the day I employed Matthew. A Fantastic design was achieved with ease because of Thomas Mathews capability and knowledge with in this industry which was much appreciated. The quality and finish is to a very high standard which we are really happy with, which also has actually helped us sell our house. They kept to our schedule and it was completed on budget. I would like to thank the team for their passion and commitment in completing this bespoke Project. The truth is in the pudding and if you look at any of there previous work you will be greatly surprised how good it is, as you can tell i would highly recommend them !!

I contacted Thomas Matthew as a friend recommended them to me, I recently moved house and was limited for space, thankfully this is no longer an issue due to their clever designs. Everybody who sees my new made to measure wardrobes, wants to know where I got them from! They designed a beautiful pair with sliding doors with a high quality finish. I absolutely love my new shoe storage design that Matthew managed to incorporate into the wardrobe. Will definitely be using again & recommending to family & friends.
