I love what I do. Making something that was once a round tree into something purposeful and unique can be a task, but it inspires me. The construction is where I am able to get intimate with the material and craft it into what the customers has envisioned. This brings in so many challenges. In this industry you can’t “rush” a job, so it forces you to stop and breathe. One of my favorite memories is when I built a kitchen for my family. Wow, to watch all the memories and laughter happen in that kitchen, that I designed, created and brought to life, there are no words. That is something that I try to bring to reach project. Each piece of furniture I make, I hope, that it gets used and enjoyed as much as that kitchen. That is my passion. I love the relationships built through my work. I am continually inspired by the collaborative process. My clients have great ideas! I have also dealt with so many couples on remodeling and new construction projects, that I am also a completely uncertified, pro-bono marriage councilor.
