While providing good quality work, this company's level of service is poor at best. They are unresponsive to phone or emails. they do not show up for appointments. When they do show up, they bring the wrong materials and have to reschedule, then they don't show for the later appointment date. they half finish a job and then leave it for 6 weeks without providing any detail about when they'll be able to complete it. We are still waiting for them to reschedule another missed appointment. Supposed to be a pretty straightforward kitchen cabinet and toe kick install

Rather than actually come to see what is wrong with their product, they use personal facebook pictures to make FALSE assumptions. Our countertop with stone literally is coming detached from the wall. Had to be repaired, and again it looks as if it is detaching. Then there is our pantry. Our wood shelves in our pantry literally are falling apart. Elegant likes to think it is because my 3 yr old, 30 pound son, crawled onto one side of our wood pantry (not the broken side either) ONCE. How do they know? It was cute, I took a picture on facebook, which somehow they managed to snoop and find (creepy). Which when I called - they never even mentioned, they just said their work was fine. The lack of actually coming to look at anything is so offsetting. Comparing woodwork with neighbours, it does not surprise me that we have had issues. Ours were terribly built. Very little support. I asked many times about weight limits and was told we would never have an issue.

Elegant Woodwork's team did an excellent job completing our kitchen and vanities to the highest standard. Patrick Sutherland maintained communication throughout the entire process of our home renovation. Meanwhile, Patrick Belanger made repeated visits to the project, never giving us a hard time for changing details. They were both ready to work with us to ensure that we were all proud of the finished product.

Elegant was absolutely fantastic to work with from design phase through to completion. The quality and work ethic of their install, touch up and sales team are second to none. We are absolutely thrilled with our new custom kitchen, mudroom, and finishing throughout our home. Thanks Elegant!

Professional, talented and honest. Elegant built us a custom kitchen and added two custom built in's as part of our main floor renovation. From the time we interviewed them to the completion of the project they were partners with us the entire way. Patrick Sutherland went out of his way to help us in making our decisions (even in those areas that were out of scope for his company.) Patrick Belanger was our project manager and kept us up to date on the scheduling, and worked hard to ensure our satisfaction throughout the process. I highly recommend this team for kitchen renos and custom cabinetry.

Francois at Elegant Woodwork replaced 6 doors on the main floor of our bungalow. Francois came and took the initial measurements and the doors were ready a couple weeks later. Because our house was built in 1965 the doors were not standard size and all had to be adjusted to fit which Francois took the time to do perfectly! It was a small project but I’d definitely use Elegant Woodwork again!

Elegant Woodwork did a great job for us on our home office built-ins and floating shelves. They were able to give us exactly what we wanted, going out of their way to source our choice species of wood. The service we received from Patrick Sutherland was excellent. Installation was smooth, timely and very professional. We are having them quote on a larger kitchen project. I would highly recommend Elegant Woodwork!

This has got to be one of the best contractors i have dealt with in calgary. everyone from the owner down is extremly professional, great to deal with and respond to all requests and concers in a timely fashion if your looking for a any type of cabnets or woodworking for your home you would be crazy not to contact this company. they provided great detailed drawings with 3d overviews to give a great conceptual view of the finished product, great pricing with no pressure sales. they set a install date and showed up on time as promised and finished the work within the time frame they said they would. with all the other crappy/shady contractors out there these guys at Elegant are really a top notch A+++ service provider that understand the inportance of customer service. i could not be happier with the end results.
