In conjunction with remodeling plus a new addition to our home, Charles Cabinets completed a number of projects for us over the past 20 years. Their range of capability is truly remarkable and they have produced consistently beautiful results. Our five projects were each quite different in nature, spaced out, and of different sizes. Collectively, they have included the design, construction, and installation of custom cabinetry for a kitchen, three bathrooms (one with an all-Corian® shower having doors to two separate rooms), a bedroom with adjoining sitting room, a bar nook, a great room, and an office. Due to our special design requests, each of these projects required significant creative thinking, problem solving, and iterative planning. The office project, for example, incorporated a large peninsula style desk, many cabinet shelves, abundant drawers, and a number of built-in file cabinets. One of the many highlights is a completely concealed wall bed integrated into the cabinetry. Most recently Charles Cabinets completed an entertainment wall in a great room. One of the design goals was that of European styling with clean lines and complete concealment of all audio/visual electronics. As a result, a wide screen TV rises on command from beneath a Cambria® surface. Surround sound loudspeakers with the exception of subwoofers are strategically mounted flush with wall surfaces. The subwoofers, however, are concealed within the cabinetry, yet acoustically isolated. Additionally, “floating” wall shelves with imbedded LED lights were crafted to not have visible obtrusive support systems. Customer relations at Charles Cabinets are wonderful. Regardless of project size or delays in decision-making on our part, we received genuinely warm personalized professional attention and more than abundant patience. In all cases their craftsmanship has been exquisite. Indeed, we highly recommend Charles Cabinets and look forward ourselves to additional future projects. Charles Cabinets built all of our cabinets when we built our home in 2005. Not only was the quality and craftsmanship outstanding but the creativity and customer service was outstanding. We purchased our home in 2007. It was a basic original 1954 house. Charles Cabinet Company has assisted us in taking our outdated home to updated, functioning and something we take pride of ownership in. in 2009 we finished an upstairs remodel including built in bookcases, dressers, storage and a brand new bathroom. Charles Cabinets provided us with amazing custom cabinets as well as unmatched storage and space maximizing ideas. The custom touch their cabinets provided us with have made our master bedroom and entire upstairs beautiful and functional. in 2013 we remodeled our kitchen. We had 3 existing cabinets in a walk through galley style kitchen. To say it was non-functioning is an understatement. Charles Cabinets team designed us a beautiful U shaped kitchen and a very functioning breakfast nook. We quadrupled our cabinet space and countertop space. Their ideas, and design as well as high quality and functioning product has transformed the space in to something I couldn't have envisioned in my wildest dreams. The thing I love best about Charles cabinets is when they give you an estimate on the project there is no additional costs from beginning to completion unless the homeowner decides to add extras along the way. The budget we got from the beginning never changed. They are thorough and really excel at what they do. We are doing a basement remodel soon and I wouldn't hire anyone else.
