It all started in the Industrial Arts program at Crosby High School in Waterbury, CT where childhood friends Rich D’Angelo and Dan Angelicola studied woodworking together. After high school, they entered the work force and learned the business working for other woodworking companies. At the age of 21 they decided to go into business for themselves, and in April 1983 launched Angel Woodworking together at their present location on 972 North Main Street in Waterbury. With no money, but much talent they knew they would have to put out a high quality product with a personal touch to get recognition and work; and that is what they did. Beginning with very little advertising their business became a success based on the quality products and services they offered their customers. 26 years later they are recognized by the personal touch they offer each customer; from the design process to the quality of their work, Angel Woodworking prides itself on being a traditional woodworking company. Every job done by Angel Woodworking is designed and created as if it were going into Rich or Dan’s own home, with perfection and attention to detail.
