We worked with Matthew and his team through our entire process of planning and designing our home in Wasaga Beach. Their experience and expert advice has guided us through the permit process with NVCA and the Town of Wasaga Beach; their constant communication with us and our engineers has made this whole experience so much easier. Matthew and his team are very knowledgeable with the processes and requirements; so much so they have managed to save us some money. It was a pleasure working with Sketch Design, from start to finish!

Matt was really good at taking an idea that was in my head, some very rough sketches of the dream house and was able to get them on a permit ready set of drawings. Matt and his team worked with us to make these into an amazing reality. The house turned out so well it was featured in a magazine. Two years later people walking by stop and ask who designed it. Every detail and feature was covered in the design stage so when we built it we required zero on the fly changes. That made the people building the house very happy and a much easier job for them along with no costly over runs. Every single day we walk into the house we are thankful of such a amazing, comfortable and useful space. I would highly recommend Matt and the team at Sketch Design Build Inc. and have already for all your building design requirements.

Matt is a true professional who took the time to go over all aspects of the shop we had him design, and gave great ideas. I will continue to recommended Matt to design homes and custom projects. I hired Sketch Design to design our retirement dream home. Matt worked closely with my wife and I and listened to our needs and wants and came up with a beautifully designed and very functional home. We live in a community of custom homes and as such we were required to submit our design to an internal architectural committee. When we submitted the design as drawn up by Matt the architectural committee were so impressed they wrote about it in our community newsletter stating that all submissions should be as detail oriented as ours. Matt - Sketch Design Build - has helped me with several projects and some complex requiring negotiating with the city. I highly recommend them for your building projects that require a permit or just good ideas and plans that need to get on paper. He's also very connected with engineers and can get work done very quickly. The pics show a before and after of a front porch with a roof that was put on. They also worked to design a garage with an apartment above - that's being built currently and was a difficult plan to get passed by the city. Matt went over and above to work with the city and to calm my nerves!

We hired Matt on a recommendation from a friend to design our forever home and he did not disappoint our expectations. His ideas and previous design layouts helped us create an amazing home. Timeline from conception to final drawings was not draw out and completed in a timely manner. Our contractor and trades love the detail he provided in his drawings and will recommend him for future clients.
