At Design Science we are Licensed Building Designers and Licensed Builders. A great design is required to both achieve your desires but also remain practically and financially buildable. This is what sets Design Science apart, we use actual building experience, design and construction science to add substance to the design. With over 30 years of experience covering commercial, residential, new and renovation projects we have the knowledge to ensure the correct budget-design fit. Our qualifications include Energy, Efficiency and Sustainability, Asbestos, Passive Fire Control and Building Inspection. We provide plans and documentation that serve two very important purposes, firstly to express your vision and desires in a format that makes sense to you and secondly, to express that same vision in a format that makes sense to the trades that are going to turn it into reality. More than just a pretty picture, plans are the pathway and instructions that determine how well your project is ultimately going to meet these goals. Design Science has the knowledge to think outside the square and produce both stunning, yet practical designs.

We were looking to renovate our bathroom and laundry. We spoke with many companies but weren't satisfied with their responsiveness or design options. David worked with us to create great designs for both the rooms that made more efficient use of the space and looked great. There is nothing that we would change and we are very happy that we chose his company.

As a structural engineer I have worked closely with David at Design Science to deliver many projects. It is great working with David because he has a vast array of construction and design knowledge and his solutions are so much more than just a set of drawings. We have seen many 3D designed buildings, but David has the ability to deliver a digitally constructed 3D building and this is a rarity. The extra steps that David can achieve, provides a magnitude of additional benefits to the project that we see first hand such as true bill of quantities and superior/proactive project planning. I cannot recommend David at Design Science enough to deliver professional and comprehensive solutions.

We engaged David from Design Science for our renovation. Easy to communicate with and his depth of knowledge was fantastic. He was able to produce a design that worked with our existing structure. As a school building and maintenance manager for over 10 years I have met a lot of designers and architects during my work and couldn’t recommend David highly enough, he saved us $1,000’s over other proposals I had received.
