Darling Designs has been serving the high-end custom home market in the regional southwest since 1987, and has completed several other private commissions throughout the US. Principal Designer Ron Darling still draws every project and every detail by hand. A traditionally trained design professional, he prefers the “old-school” approach of preparing the vellum sheet and setting pen – or pencil – to paper. Unusual for a professional designer, he has first-hand knowledge of construction methods and actual field experience, which gives him a unique perspective when it comes to design – one that translates into real value for his clients. Nancy Darling is the firm’s Account Director, managing client relations, business development and quality control – as well as offering design input. The two, married over 40 years, work side-by-side on each and every project. When you hire Darling Designs, you work only with Ron and Nancy. There are no handoffs to other employees because there are none. You get the complete attention of the owners of the company. They do 100% of the design work with you.
