Sobre nosotros
Robert Marshall is an award-winning custom home builder dedicated to giving his customers the Florida home of their dreams—designed to their specifications—and built with integrity and attention to detail. Among his many awards, Marshall was awarded the southeastern United States Aurora Award for Custom Home of Year in 2006 for a one-of-a-kind custom home that Marshall designed and built. The Aurora Award, given by the Southeast Builder’s Association, is recognized throughout the industry as the southeast region’s premier building and design competition and is the most coveted symbol of home building and design excellence.
Through Marshall Real Estate Development, Marshall developed and built several industrial projects. He also partnered with St. John’s Housing Partnership to develop and build Hancock Place, an affordable housing development. Through this partnership, the U.S. Department of Energy awarded them one of seven nationwide regional awards for Excellence in Energy Efficiency and Affordable Housing. Their region covered the southeastern United States, and they received the award in 2008 and 2010.
Marshall founded World Island Builders, Inc. in 1987, after working in the construction industry for ten years. He began by buying, renovating, and reselling older Florida homes. To date, Marshall has built over one hundred custom and affordable homes.
Marshall is a longtime member of the St. Augustine community and has severed on numerous boards, as well as chairman of the St. John’s County Builder’s Council, Housing Partnership, and Housing Finance Authority.
