Woodleigh Home Improvements is a family owned and operated business focusing on renovations and extensions with over 11 years of experience. Woodleigh Home Improvements is named after the owner, Mick, and his family farm on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. The name is a reminder of the values Mick learnt while growing up there; simplicity, transparency, hard work, outdoor living and not being scared to get your hands dirty. Mick’s skills come to light when envisioning end-results so as to help his clients plan out their dream spaces, coming up with new ideas while being transparent with thing that won’t work. Mick personally oversees each project as he has high pride in what he does and will not shy away from telling people something isn't up to scratch. Mick pride himself on reputation and quality craftsmanship. Building in small volumes allows him to stay focused on projects and developments, ensuring he exceed his clients expectation at all times. I highly recommend Michael and his team for the following reasons: - Honest and Trustworthy: If Michael’s team ever made a mistake (nothing major) they would let me know asap and take fully accountability. - Quality Work: I could not be happier with the work they did. They also provided really good advise which improved the outcome of the renovation - Communication: I always knew what was work was being completed, delayed or planned. Lots of on-site walk throughs to make sure we were both aligned on next steps.

The communication was excellent and the process of the renovation went smoothly, The team kept me well informed on what was next and of any issues that cropped up. Mike's team are hardworking, kind and respectful, even my neighbour commented on how quiet they were which she never expected. Very happy with the quality of the job and I would use them again in the future.

We had our bathrooms renovated by Woodleigh Home Improvements. They were very proffessional across all aspects of the job. Michael and his tradesmen were friendly and accomodating. Mick and the team at Woodleigh did an outstanding job on our renovation in West Leederville where we gutted the internals and completely reconfigured the floor plan. We have an old house and Mick was upfront about all of the challenges we were likely to face before we started the works. With a little bit of luck and a lot of creative thinking by the Woodleigh team we have a finished product that my wife and I are extremely happy with. Excellent workmanship and an extremely friendly, professional and tidy group of men and woman builders. Highly recommend.

I am an Owner Builder. As many know, owner builders can take a risk with their trades if they are not invested in the process and embark on the journey with you - as a team. Mick and his staff at Woodleigh had their hearts in the project from the get go. The project ran as smoothly as possible and without incident. He and his team also provided valuable advice along the way. We now have a beautiful extension to our home that the family is growing into.
