This is the second home Wittmer Construction has built for us. The move in date and budget came out as expected. The subs were all friendly and professional. There are a lot of decisions to be made Matt understands that and answers questions promptly. Building a house is stressful, but it is worth it. Our house came out better than I even expected.

Matt Wittmer is the best. The real test of 100% satisfaction can be answered with the question, “Would you hire this contractor a second time.” And I would answer, yes, and in fact, we did. We have experience working with contractors in other locations, but Wittmer Construction has been the best experience for us. In addition to all the stars we can give Matt, he proved to be flexible to my wife’s change of plans, gave us valuable feedback to our ideas, was very patient, and in the end we had a home we were proud of. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Matt and his team. Matt built us a vacation home in downtown Bend and we love it. Matt is about as respectful and honest as anyone you’ll meet. And he’s everything you’d want in a builder; kind, respectful, responsive, personable, and prompt. His trades were all kind and respectful as well, and their workmanship was top-notch. We interviewed several builders and from the first phone call with Matt, it was apparent that he was the perfect person to build our home. The process was smooth and we were kept informed every step of the way. Thanks Matt and Shannon. My husband and I had such a fantastic building experience with Matt Wittmer of Wittmer Construction. Matt is extremely organized, a strong communicator, a problem solver and detail oriented. Our Wittmer Construction custom "modern mountain farmhouse" was the first home we'd ever built, and it was such an enjoyable process. The subcontractors who work for Matt were great as well, as was the Wittmer Construction office manager. Highly impressed!

We were very satisfied with the entire build process, start to finish. We were still living in California during the build process, commuting every 4-6 weeks, so communication was very important. We found Matt to be extremely organized and the vendors he used commented on how they appreciated his organization. Matt had helpful suggestions throughout the build. We are impressed with the quality, even behind the walls. We would highly recommend them and would use them again.

I would highly recommend Wittmer Construction for home building. They are a very proactive builder - communication and scheduling are one of their best services offered from beginning to end of the project. They have the best sub-contractors which makes it pleasant during the whole build.

Wittmer Contruction homes are well built, each stage is well thought through and detailed. I’ve been in construction for over 30 years and few builders can keep a project clean and the subcontractors are not working on top of each other so they can do their best for the homeowner. Matt and crew will do a quality job all the way through the process.
