Bill McCance continued the family building business in Toronto and other areas of Ontario in the 1970s with pool construction, houses, docks and ski area developments. Bill moved to Whistler in 1971, pursued a coaching career in alpine skiing, and continued construction projects as an original staff member developing Blackcomb Mountain, and developing residential, commercial, golf and municipal projects. McCance & Son Building Service was established in 1994 and relocated to Vancouver in 2004. It continues high quality home and commercial renovation projects in the Gulf Islands and Southern Vancouver Island, specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
