V.I.P Home Builders Inc.

We hired him for 2 projects. First project mostly painting and small repairs and that went ok although some stalling at the end and lack of attention to detail. The 2nd project included bathroom renovation, shower renovation, flooring, metal railing, installing new bathroom and shower, painting, repositioning walls, roofing work, electric and plumbing. It was started June30,2023 with anticipated completion end of July but we allowed up to August 12th, 2023. The demolition was done quickly but everything else stalled. There was damage done to unrelated parts of our property during demolition. He would promise work plans which do not materialize. He would ask for extra money in advance to pay workers and for material and we found out later doesn’t do either. He kept asking for extra payments way in advance, we did and despite that workers were not payed thinking we did not pay. He stopped showing up second half of September with not one part of the project completed. We had paid him almost the full amount way in advance of the payment schedule with nothing completed and some parts of the work not even started. He also did damage to our property that will cost us thousands of dollars to repair..

Overall, I had a decent experience working with V.I.P Home Builders Inc. While the home they built for me met my expectations in terms of quality and design, there were some issues with the cleanliness of the job site after completion. The construction process left behind a significant amount of debris and materials, which took longer than expected to clean up. While the team was polite and professional throughout the process, I would have appreciated more attention to detail in terms of job site cleanup. That being said, I am happy with the end result and would recommend V.I.P Home Builders Inc. to anyone looking for a reliable and quality home builder.

Working with VIP Builders was a challenging experience. The price was great, the materials used were of good quality; however, if time is of the essence, this is not the contractor for you.
