Ajalli Architects PLLC, was founded in 2007 by Ali Ajalli. The firm's mission is to combine world-class design innovation with local, solution-oriented approaches for the building design needs of single family houses in the Washington, DC metro area. Mr. Ajalli, owner and lead architect, has more than forty-five years of experience in residential design. He’s honed his craft with numerous homeowners in the DMV area. Today, Ajalli Architects/ Tysons Design Build, undertakes one type of project, CUSTOM HOMES. Mr. Ajalli's commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction, coupled with his leadership abilities and demonstrated talent, serves his clients very effectively and efficiently. Embarking on a career that reflected both his creative and technically minded sensibilities, Mr. Ajalli studied architecture at Louisiana Tech University and received his degree in 1987. Prior to forming Ajalli Architects PLLC, Mr. Ajalli served as Associate/ Project Designer for WDG Architecture in Washington DC and Senior Project Designer for KEO International Consultant, based in Kuwait. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council, and the Vienna Tyson Regional Chamber of Commerce. Perhaps even more valuable than the impeccable professional expertise offered to clients is Mr. Ajalli's commitment to clear architectural communication. He focuses on effective listening, understanding and clear explanation, which are central to the design process and, only when a client's goals and preferences are clearly understood and accounted for can their project achieve its full potential.
