He built his personal home and decided that this was his passion. While working for Ford he started his custom home building company in 2001. Then after retiring from Ford in 2007, he made building his full-time career. Tom is a Louisville Home Builder who performs all levels of home building and renovation. Tom Waller Signature Homes has qualified as a Registered Builder with the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville & now President of of The BIA. To qualify, a home builder must pass a rigorous investigation into their credit history; have at least 2 fellow-builder sponsors; have built at least 10 homes in the previous 5 years; pass 8 previous customers’ screening; be a full-time builder; pass a committee interview; and most importantly, complete annual proficiency courses.
