We can't recommend Renewvate highly enough! From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to excellence that truly impressed us. We hired Renewvate to undertake a significant renovation project in our home, including changing the layout of the ground floor, removing internal load bearing walls, installing new roof tiles, flooring, completely revamping our kitchen and bathroom, new windows, damp proofing, etc, etc, etc.... Because of the large amount of work needed, we were looking for someone that understood our goals from the start and could work with us to achieve it within a set budget. We weren't disappointed. They not only gave us a great estimate, but they also helped during the renovation process to find solutions that could save us money. Throughout the project, Renewvate remained accessible and accommodating. They were always just a phone call away, and their flexibility made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent, and they kept us informed every step of the way, ensuring that our vision was realized to perfection. The Renewvate team has been an excellent choice for our renovation project. The property was in need of a full modernisation and we also carry out some structural work to open up the space in the living room/kitchen. In addition, the skilled Renewvate team was able to provide some bespoke carpentry work which has made a real difference to the end results. We now have a bespoke media in our main living space which is one of the best features of the property! I appreciated the patience shown while waiting for building regs approval for some structural work and the ability to try and understand our vision and needs. Doris is always available to jump on a call or meet in person and great attention of the quality check of works. After researching other companies, we finally decided to choose Renewvate for their ability to be flexible and option to provide beskpoke solutions when needed. Quick and Great work with tight schedule on extension and garage conversation within two months!

I'm a designer-maker who engaged with Renewvate for a renovation project of our own home. It was a very different approach to the otherwise straightforward client/business relationship, as I myself partook in the design and build processes in collaboration with Doris and her team; by offering my unique perspective and critiques here I hope I might offer some realistic insight into how our renovation went – and help prospective clients decide whether or not Renewvate is a good fit for their projects. I really got to know them on a personal level from physically working together and made me empathise with the struggles of operating a construction enterprise in this current climate. Overall it was a very positive experience despite a lengthier-than-estimate timeframe, some finishing imperfections and communication difficulties – much as a result of factors beyond our control. Doris, the head builder Hua and their team are friendly and collaborative in nature, without the egotistical holier-than-thou-ness often exuded and condescended by tradesmen – indeed a rarity in London. I was especially grateful for how willing and open they are in accommodating and even embracing my more unorthodox design and building decisions, most of which were dictated by ecological and biophilic material selections and methods even experienced conventional builders are inexperienced with. I was referred to Renewvate via the Houzz concierge service; and to Doris's credit, once we had spoken on the same phone call Houzz had connected us mid-October, in a matter of a couple of days I was able to receive a site inspection visit and thorough breakdown of works and associated costs. Commencement took place on the earliest possible date whilst giving us enough time to organise our belongings, which we thought was optimal at two weeks beginning of November. What was the most impressive was their ability to completing the structural elements within mere two days, which for the open-plan design meant removing load-bearing walls and installing three 4-6m steel beams carried through restrictive access. While it set the rapid pace initially progress did eventually stall, which in large part due to external setbacks such as supply delays and drawn-out kitchen consultation. As we neared the holiday season these issues became increasingly inhibitive; come January, with some of my involvement (herringbone flooring; processing reclaimed kitchen countertops) suspended by my suffering the effects of COVID, the sequential flow of the project was regularly interrupted – the expected completion date of Christmas Eve didn't happen until beginning of March. I am grateful to Doris and co for their willingness to continue works throughout December, even squeezing in a last-minute addition of the bathroom renovation to coincide with our time away during the Christmas period. Considering the limitations they excelled in delivering these renewed surrounds we now gladly call home.

We required an additional 2 rooms over our existing garage. Renewvate came to site and reviewed the plans. We received from them a detailed 4 page break down of the work, and a total price. They also gave a time frame, which included a breakdown of 10 payments only to be paid when certain works was done and both parties were satisfied with the work quality They would arrive before their agreed start time and work late into the evening normally to about 7pm or 7:30pm. Several internal things we changed on the spur of the moment during the build, and Renewvate were accommodating and flexible to include these for us and gave advise on these changes. They are very conscious that we are living and working from home while the build was progressing, so they covered areas of the house to keep dust and noise to a minimum, and even stopped various works like drilling when I had a few important calls. 2 other households down our road asked us about Renewvate and wanted their details. Both have now engaged Renewvate to do extensions for them.

I used Renewvate to build my rear extension and have been very happy with the quality and professionalism of the job. The process has been seem less which has been handy as I did not need the stress whilst working from home. The workers were friendly and left the site clean at the end of the day.
