For over 35 years, John Moffitt, Jr. has been actively involved in the residential real estate business. During this time, his objective has been to provide professional service assisting clients through custom building their home, establishing long-term business relationships, and successfully completing projects with expertise and integrity. Since 1981, John has developed homes in Leawood South, Hazelwood, The Sanctuary, Heather Ridge, Normandy Place, Parkway 133, Deer Run, Falcon Ridge, Cedar Creek, and Leawood Estates, among others. Moffitt Built was the builder of KC's first "smart" neighborhood and of Leawood's first NAHB certified green home. With a strong background in the building/development business, Moffitt Built was established to see custom home projects from the initial design stages through completion in the company's exclusive subdivisions of Hazelwood, Heatherglen & Prairie Villas, among other well-known subdivisions in the area. Moffitt Built has completed other remodeling projects of existing homes in historic areas of Leawood, Brookside, Sunset hills, Fairway, Mission, and Prairie Village. John has been involved in the construction of over 500 homes metrowide and has a reputation for quality-built, energy-efficient, and green-based homes that you are pleased to call your own. The founders of MOJO Built recognized a lack of qualified industry professionals who possess the ability and vision to design and build new homes that are in harmony with, and complementary to, established neighborhoods. Today’s lifestyles require modern floorplans with today’s technology, while simultaneously maintaining a design that fits within the neighborhood. In response, Joe Woods and John Moffitt, Jr. formed MOJO Built in 2011. Their mission is to maintain, preserve, and prolong the architectural integrity of a home within its established neighborhood.
