Building on his honesty, integrity and passion for excellence, Jack is known for his finely crafted custom homes. Growing up between the South Shore and Cape Cod nurtured Jack’s aesthetic for classic New England architecture. Jack attended Thayer Academy and graduated with a degree in business from Bentley University. He worked for many years in commercial real estate in Boston before joining the building trades; experience that created the foundation from which he built his construction expertise. Today Jack and JB Robbie Builders have constructed many coastal homes throughout Cape Cod and the South Shore. Working with architects, Jack and his dedicated team of talented craftsmen design and construct the finest custom waterfront homes. Repeat clients and many referrals are a testimony to JB Robbie’s level of satisfied customers. Jack is often contacted by a homeowner prior to purchasing land to build. He is able to offer guidance throughout the process, beginning with site selection, design consultation, to the final custom construction. Jack did such a beautiful job with our house. He was wonderful to collaborate with, and I felt confident knowing he had both the design sense and the experience to keep me from making any bad decisions along the way. Whenever I was concerned about something, he'd calmly come up with a solution (to mention just a few: a last-minute ceiling height adjustment; a stairwell redesign to make the stairs less steep; an idea for tucking away the attic access...). He helped problem-solve a multitude of practical details that hadn't been factored in. His patience and vision are amazing, and he always quickly understood whatever random design point I was obsessing over. (I think we spent a good hour figuring out where to center the kitchen island). It's our hope that Jack will work with us again on another future home!

I am an architectural designer. I have worked with Jack, Jennifer and their team on multiple projects. Their attention to detail is excellent. If there is question that comes up in the field they are quick to collaborate and see what the best direction might be to maintain the design intent. They spend time to review the plans carefully and thoughtfully consider the needs of the client, as well as, understanding the building they are constructing before they are in the field. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my clients.

Jack and his team built our primary residence in 2010 and recently we hired him to add an addition to our second home. The quality of work and craftsmanship is top notch and both projects were finished on time. No corners are ever cut and he always brings fresh ideas to enhance the house and make it look better. I honestly have never seen better finish work than what Jack and his team bring to the table. Most importantly, he is honest and fair. I never have had one bill discrepancy and he is a pleasure to work with. He actually makes the building experience enjoyable when I hear nightmares about other peoples experience. In my opinion, there is not a better builder on the south shore/cape and islands.

Fantastic! We highly recommend Cedar Point! Jack and Jen were true professionals. Our home was built on schedule and within budget. They have wonderful knowledge of building high end homes and have a abundance resources. They were always available to talk with us and work with our ideas and visions as well. Working with Jack and Jennifer and their subs at Cedar Point/JB Robbie was nothing but wonderful. Who undergoes a year-long full-house renovation and likes their contractor MORE when it's all over?!? We do. Calm and steady is the best way to describe Jack's demeanor: nothing was an emergency, every hiccup was no problem, and no decisions were rushed. Every sub was friendly, professional and (most of all) a perfectionist at their trade. We recommend Jack and Cedar Point/Robbie Construction unequivocally.
