Angela is extremely knowledgeable about the design aspect and worked tirelessly with us to ensure she fully understood what we were hoping to achieve when we renovated the kitchen, en-suite bathroom and main living area of our 26 year old basement entry home. She offered suggestions for design elements that we hadn't contemplated that enhanced our space immensely. She also helped us source products and provided guidance along the way to ensure we received the best possible quality while staying true to our vision and budget. Rob managed the scheduling of the tradespeople and the job-site in general and did a fantastic job. It became very evident early on that all of the tradespeople they deal with are top-notch and they all have the utmost respect for both Rob and Angela. Rob prides himself on keeping a very clean job-site which makes it easier for tradespeople when they arrive to do their job and helps keep everything on schedule. This is extremely important for any renovation, particularly if the homeowner is going to continue to reside in their home while work is being completed. We now have a beautiful new space that fits our lifestyle perfectly that we love to come home to every day. Renovating was the perfect choice for us as it has allowed us to remain in the home where we have lived for many years and it will carry us through the next stage of our lives. Heartwood Homes did a excellent job on finishing our basement. Rob is great at managing contractors and getting the job done in a timely fashion.

We had the privilege of having Heartwood help design and build our custom home. I use the word home instead of house because Angela has an incredible eye for style while still being mindful of function, important when you have a young family. We have grown into our home very nicely, and are still having people taking pictures of our house every so often. A testament to how well the design and function have stood through the years. She was easy to collaborate with, and a pleasure to talk to. Rob has an incredible wealth of knowledge, I was extremely comfortable asking him any questions and/or bringing up any concerns. He was mindful of our budget and schedule, and kept us on target. The contractors and tradespeople who they have working relationships with are all top notch, and share their attention to detail and quality. We highly recommend them to anyone requiring home builders, for any project big or small.

Our "new" house is now 10 years old and I have to say that has really stood the test of time in terms of style, quality and functionality. Every Halloween, strangers (kids and parents) come up to tell us how they admire our custom built house. Heartwood Homes did a beautiful major kitchen renovation for us that we are thrilled with. They also did a 1000 sq ft addition to our home with great/games room, bar, office and bathroom.
