Durant Building is a small residential building company specialising in high-end projects, founded by Troy Durante in 2014. Troy brings with him over 16 years of experience working predominantly in Sydney but also in Vancouver & London. We have worked to establish the business to bring a wealth of experience with us. We wanted to start our own thing and take ownership over details, design and build a business that served not only the clients but also something that ourselves and our employees would be proud of. Our mission is to provide excellent building services to clients within the residential building industry. Troy's main values are based on efficiency, quality, customer service and professionalism. The Durant BDM team pride ourselves on customer service and client relations. We aim to be as transparent as possible when discussing costing, timelines and design ideas. We take pride in our professionalism and eye for good details & quality which sets us apart from our competition.

We hired Troy and his team at Durant BDM to renovate our terrace in Newtown. The project took around 8-9 months to complete and was substantial and quite technical in parts. Troy and the team were absolutely wonderful. Responsive, professional, and simply great builders, they were also willing to contribute their own thoughts on design and what might work best, while also working with our architect. We highly recommend the team at Durant BDM to anyone looking for a builder.

Durant Building and their team did an excellent job on our renovation, they are a friendly team and easy to work with understanding exactly what we required. We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend them to anyone.

It was exciting to see the transformation of the old single level house into a modern, open, 2 level dwelling. Troy and his team at Durant Building Design Management were very easy going, open and professional all the way through. During the build there were challenges that required site meetings and slight changes with design or product. The team was very accommodating and available for queries or questions. True to the build time line and after were quick to remedy any minor issues. We now have a beautiful house and granny flat with high end finishes. Couldn’t be happier, would recommend Durant Building Design Management to anyone.

I have used Troy and his team on four occasions. He is always easy and never minds when things change during the course of the job. His team are polite, tidy up beautifully and are friendly. The tradies he uses work to a very high standard too. His prices are reasonable and he completes the jobs within the time frame needed. I would strongly recommend him.
