the fact that i am writing my first ever review at 48 years old says alot. Working with Chris and his team has been an absolute pleasure. dont get me wrong, having a bunch of workmen in your house for 4-5months can be tiring, however we couldnt have picked a better bunch to have had working. key factors: professionalism 10/10 reliability 10/10 attitude 10/10 cleanliness 10/10 helpfulness 10/10 Chris is 100% professional and runs a project like clockwork. if he says someone is coming they come. we had the team on site every day for the full duration of the project, unlike many builders who are pulling guys of left right and centre. Chris and the teams attitude was as if they were working on their own homes. the site and house was cleared and tidied up every afternoon and then a full deep clean at the end of the project. Chris helped so much with planners, sub contractors, problem neighbours... advice and guidance. he continues to do so post project. the service provided was a full 360 service and the input my wife and I had to give was minimal. I hope to have the pleasure of working with Chris and the team again in future. anyone reading this message, please trust me as I am in the industry, you will be hard pushed to find a better company, leader and team to work with. We had used Chris to do a house renovation previously although on a much smaller scale. Chris was always happy to give advice or help with anything building wise even months after completion so we had no hesitation using Chris again on our forever home project. Chris helped us with the design, planning and build and his guidance, as always, was invaluable. This project involved ripping out existing electrical and heating systems, removal of an existing staircase and an extension which has almost doubled the size of the house. Chris also built a feature fireplace in one of the reception rooms using the orignal brick from the dismantled fireplace which looks absoultely amazing. Honesly, if you're looking for someone who will offer guidance but not dictate and someone who will take absolute pride in his work then look no further.

Chris and his team were superb! Every little detail was considered. Chris was on site every day to discuss the ongoing construction and pre-empting any upcoming decisions well in advance to avoid delays. Chris started major construction to our property in September 2021 to be completed by September 2022. The work is completed couple of weeks before completion date. We were kept informed of progress at every stage and were consulted at each step. Chris and his team ensured that the place was kept tidy during construction period. Although the property was vacant during the project, feed back I got from neighbours was that Chris and his team were polite and very professional when couple of people were unhappy with the usual construction noise. My husband and I will not have no hesitation in recommending Chris Hunter constructions for big or small project. We hope to engage this company in any future construction if and when required.
