In 1995, our founder and owner, Lori Waters, a second generation builder, decided to create a building company that would cater to discriminating owners by providing superior quality, at an affordable price. Meticulous attention to detail and a true dedication to the art of craftsmanship have earned Built By Waters a reputation of excellence in the building industry. Two years later, Lori's husband, Glen, joined the successful and growing company, and has been a true asset to Built By Waters.

I have known Glen and Lori Waters for over 12 years as their roofing supply sales rep. I have walked every roof of every house they've built over those 12 years. Their homes are built with integrity and quality, and by some of the best subcontractors and suppliers in our area. Unlike some builders, they never sacrifice quality to use cheaper products or sub contractors. Knowing what ive learned over these 12 years associating with Built By Waters and their trade partners, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend for a new home, and if I were to have a new home built, I would absolutely contract with these good folks to build my home.

I have had the privilege of working with Mr. & Mrs. Waters on several projects including their beautiful 2016 Fall Parade for Polk County. They have a level of commitment second to none. Lori's eye for design is impeccable and always on point with the hottest new trends in design. Her ability to blend all aspects of a project is truly breathtaking.

The home is very well designed for an active family or relaxed lifestyle. The flow and scale of the rooms are thoughtfully appointed and presented. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are evident throughout the home. The attention to detail continues to the exterior as well. The landscaping is Florida friendly and environmentally responsible. A truly beautiful home.

Built By Waters built our home in Lake Wales, Florida in June - October 2015. They did a fantastic job of bringing to life our dream. We had never gone through this building process before and they guided us very well. They have built relationships with experienced and gifted tradespeople over the years and with the Waters' expert leadership they are a fantastic team. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We interviewed several builders and are happy to have found Lori and Glen Waters. They made us feel comfortable and really got to know us. I feel that this was important because they knew what we wanted and could guide us through the process. They were easy to work with! We had a dream and they helped us build it. Our home was in the 2013 Fall Parade of Homes, Built by Waters and our home won most categories, including Home of the Year! Out of all the awards the one we feel is the most important was 1st place for Best Overall Quality. We know that our home is very well built and the beauty of our home is enjoyed by my family daily. We recommend Built by Waters!
