My Experience with Bigelow Homes I traded what was supposed to be 20 acers of my family farm Bigelow Homes. For a new house and other things . I was to receive 300.000 dollars worth of items for my land. This what i got instead it was changed to 22 acers my house was to be 1150square feet it is 950 square feet instead . I was leaglly sent a billing statement signed all billings for my house by Angie there secretary.And signed on back page by Joel Bigelow. on this statement there are thousands of dollars im being charged for including. Interest on the 300.000 dollars for the money im owed for my land also charged 4000.00 dollars extra for building permit 5800.00 dollars for a trailer i didnt receive 5000.00 dollars for a heat pump i didnt receive 2100.00 dollars for 2 TVs i was told they got for free I can go and on about the Bigelows and there fake Charges [there are more things i was charged for that i didnt receive] Over a year ago Tony Bigelow said he look at this statement and get the corrections made. He sent a email a week later [that i still have] stating they legally can charge me interest on something i have paid for and for items i didnt even receive then Tony Bigelow decided he was going to write up something else for me i told i would not except anything else without check statements and credit card statements all dated they refused to give me them at all num2 Bigelows decided to hire there newphew to do some landscaping on my yard [ after i told them he was not to be back on my property ] mean while he proceeded in covering up the head of my well also filling my well with dirt mixed with shit know my well is full of Ecoil and bactera. this was proven out has to who did this with dated pictures. far im concern this is no accident when the five gallon pail was removed before they started. I got the state brought into this they said the most they could force them to do was to extend the well head and clean it out. I Tony Bigelow they had to fix my well where i could drink and cook with the water again i like i could before Tony Bigelow refused to what they had damaged. i paid for what the State for what were supposed to pay for and have never been paid back num 3 my driveway I flooded out in the spring Bigelows still owed me money i told them Imms construction was to do the work they decided to hire Brooks Construction know it wasnt done right and has to be redone. i get to pay twice . i also got a billing state from Brooks. Bigelows was 5000.00 more

We worked with Matt Simon at Bigelow Homes and he did a great job managing our home building project. They make the project very easy by their excellent sub-contractors. When meeting with the sub-contractors regarding our building decisions they were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Another very nice example of the great Bigelow sub-contractors was the fact that they did not try to run our allowances up to make more money, always showing us price options. Matt was always very quick to respond to any questions we had or emails sent regarding our new home. They also maintained our building schedule from the day the excavation started, right up to our move in date. We were given a fair building estimate from Bigelow Homes and did exceed our estimate by about $10 K, based upon decisions we made during the building process. In the end we moved into a quality home based upon our floor plan and they met our deadline. We would recommend Bigelow Homes to anyone building in the Rochester Area. They also have a lot of options for home building within developments outside of Rochester. Bigelow Homes has a great home building team, we are sure very happy with them.

Very satisfied with our home building experience. I felt like we were their only customer when we talked with the company reps. Their choices for subcontractors (plumbing, flooring, etc.) were also customer focused and had plenty of products to choose from.
