Kurt Bergman is a second generation builder following in the footsteps of his father, Edward Bergman, and purchased Bergman Builders from Ed and Carolyn Bergman in 2004. Kurt earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Design in 1989 from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and then began working full time with his parents with Bergman Builders. Kurt has continued to work in the home building business ever since. Kurt and his wife, Stacy, live in Stevens Point and have two children, Brooke and Jeremy, and one granddaughter, Bria. Kurt continues the Bergman Builders family tradition of superior design, quality craftsmanship and dedicated commitment to his customers. In addition to providing quality housing in the Stevens Point Area, Bergman Builders is also committed to the community through its volunteer activities. One of its most recent projects was the construction of a playground shelter at McDill School. With the help of some very generous subcontractors, the shelter was built at almost no cost to the school. Bergman Builders is also proud to sponsor a soccer team each year through the Portage County Youth Soccer organization, serving over 700 children in Portage County.
