He enjoys building custom homes and delighting homeowners. He holds a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation from National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), along with an MBA and Engineering degrees from Texas A&M. He enjoys the attention to detail needed to build custom homes. He has been a Deacon at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church and has two grown boys of his own

Dan did a fantastic job on our recent remodel. We needed to fix some water damage from a burst pipe. Initially, I thought we would just replace the floor and fix the walls and ceiling. However, we quickly realized that we also wanted to redo the stairs and convert a pocket study into a closet with drawers and cubbies. That and a few other things like refinishing some beautiful wood French doors to our outside patio. Having done some remodeling in the past, I realized we were going to need the help of a professional to oversee the hiring and the changes. That's where Dan came. He oversaw each step and hired the pros to do the job. Key to this, was the quality of the pros ("trades" as he calls them) he works with. These people did fantastic work and worked seamlessly with Dan to get everything done to our vision. Beyond that, it's clear that Dan is a standup guy that you can depend on for good, honest and fair work. Overall, we had a very good experience!

Alexander Custom Homes of Houston (Dan Alexander) and Emily Grace Interiors (Emily Daggett) did a remarkable job on our kitchen remodel and new floor installation. They both did an excellent job of taking the time required to walk us through the scope of the project, selection options available to us, and the estimated completion timeline for the project. Dan was in constant contact with us throughout the duration of the project, kept us up to speed on any issues encountered during the course of the project, and made sure to keep us within our agreed upon budget. And Emily was spot on with all her design recommendations and made the selection making process a breeze for my wife and me. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the exceptional service as well as the quality of the work provided by Alexanders Custom Homes of Houston and Emily Grace Interiors. We highly recommend them both for your remodel work needs!

ACHH recently completed a big renovation project at my house involving a new patio cover extension integrated into the house and garage, audio-visual work, an electrical main upgrade, painting, new lighting, fan hookups, and trim carpentry. To complicate things, the work had to be performed during a pool construction. Everything was fantastic. The final results are amazing. There were at least 6 different permits/inspections required by the city. ACHH handled everything. Regularly, I was not available to be at home for deliveries or inspections. ACHH handled it. I highly recommend Alexander Custom Homes and will use them for all of my home construction needs in the future.
