Having bought and sold real estate on her own, she also understands her clients' concerns in the ever-changing Hawaii market environment. She hails from Trinidad, the beautiful sunny island in the Caribbean known for its friendly and helpful people. She earned a bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. After graduating, she returned to her tropical island roots in the hot and exciting city of South Beach, Miami, Florida. It was there that she began her hospitality industry career as a group sales manager with Hotel Intercontinental Miami. Continuing her quest for tropical climates, she relocated to Honolulu eight years ago. Here she had the pleasure of working as a group sales manager for such well-known companies as Castle Resorts and Hotels; and the prestigious Halekulani. As a concerned Hawaii resident, she is involved in a wide variety of community activities including the National Board of Realtors; Vice Chair for the East Oahu Regional Meeting, the Honolulu Club; the Academy of Arts; The American Institute of Architects,Hawaii Real Estate Investors Club; Business Network International and Kilauea Monday Night Tennis League. Lisa is also one of the founding members and President of the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce. This well-rounded "citizen of the world" is fluent in Spanish and French; and speaks conversational German, Portuguese and Italian. Her hobbies include: tennis; hiking; yoga; wine tasting; culinary adventures; photography and of course -- traveling.
