South Bay Grading

Shawn assisted us with offsite work on our new home, which included building a sidewalk in front of our home and connecting our new home to the City's underground utilities (water, sewer, and gas). He streamlined the whole process, and got the job done. The City was a pain to work with, and Shawn handled it with ease. I would not be living in my home today if it was not for him. He went above and beyond. He assisted us with fulfilling the City's insurance requirements and offered advice when we needed it. He stepped in to make calls for us with our engineer and offered solutions when we were stuck in a mess. Even after the project was done, he's been available to reach through text and phone. I highly recommend Shawn and his team.

My Engineering firm worked with South Bay Grading on two separate projects this year, including a road drainage improvement plan and a streambank stabilization project. On each project, we were the civil engineers, hired independently by the owners, and SBC was the low bidder in a competitive bid arrangement. This was the owners' and our first experience with SBG. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, and attention to detail. The completed work on time and budget and were willing to fairly negotiate the types of adjustments to project scope and detail that are common when working in the woods. I'll certainly be recommending them to my other clients.

South Bay Grading did an excellent job on our road. The schedule was clear and the project was done on time. They had great communication and we were able to work out what we could get done with the funding that we had.
