Stefanie is fantastic at what she does. We hired her for the home builder package and to select finishings in our home. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond our expectations and helped us design a kitchen and bathroom that match our vision, budget and needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer. If you are building a new house and aren't sure how to select your finishings, Twig + Timber should be your first call.

It was a joy to work with Stefanie; it was our first time working with a designer. We worked with interior decorators before, but not a designer. She understood our needs and preferences on the first appointment and got into action right away. Plans were approved with a few small changes. We worked with our own contractor and bought our own products based on her suggestions and came right on budget. We love our modern farmhouse bathroom! I would definitely work with her again.

Stephanie was able to find a style, furniture, accessories, and colours that we really like, and is exactly our style, for our budget. My wife is really happy with our bedroom, it was a birthday gift for her. She saved us lots of time for all those findings! Thank you.

Our kitchen turned out better then we could have imagined. Stef has a creative mind and found the perfect layout for our kitchen that was very different from our original footprint. She worked collaboratively by incorporating our style while helping us stay within our budget to find the right accents and finishing touches that make the project stand out. We contacted Stefanie after the purchase of our new home to discuss our first project which was to completely gut the kitchen and create an open concept. Stefanie knew exactly what we wanted by simply providing her with a few pictures of our dream kitchen. We found it very easy to work with her from our very first meeting to discuss design to the last day of the project. I would also like to mention the team of contractors she works with are also extremely professional, respectful & clean which is not always the case when working in an empty home. We have already referred Stefanie and her team to friends and family! We will definitely use Stefanie's services again in the near future to re-design our Master Suite & bathroom.

I met Stephanie originally through Kijiji I believe and at the time I was looking for a designer that could work with me on a few fronts, which included my business, my personal living space and also my parent's home. Originally, I had hired Urban Spaces to put on paper the design I had for a bathroom we were renovating. I thought I had all of the design elements and that she would only map it. She was able to work with the elements I had already and improve. She was able to execute my vision on paper. She has a great eye for design, she listens and never tries to impose her vision. I never felt pressured to go in a direction I wasn't comfortable with and at the same time she was able to push my boundaries and I liked, loved the final result. It wouldn't have been possible without her help. Finally, she is also affordable considering the money and time we saved when we hired her.

Having never worked with an interior designer before, I cannot make a comparison, but my experience working with Stefanie has been wonderful. I have used Stef for 2 different projects. The first was a room designed from 'scratch'. It served no purpose, but I wanted a room to call my own, so decided to go with an office. It turned into so much more than that! Stef saw the potential in the room that I never did. For example, my husband thought about putting a sofa in there, but Stef was able to integrate a daybed (which has a pull out for 2 people) which is so much more elegant, and now my office doubles as a guest room! (Check out the photos on her page - 'Elgin office') The second project was a vanity for our bathroom. We had an idea for what we wanted, but the budget we had in mind wasn't enough for what we had wanted. She gave us 2 options: she could work within our budget, but we not have the finished product we had envisioned, or we would invest more and have something we would love for years to come. We decided to go with the 2nd option and are we ever glad we did! The room is stunning! I call it my mini spa room. I would absolutely recommend Stefanie for you design projects. She is a lot of fun to work with, answers any and all questions (with little to no delay). I am planning on doing my bedroom next, and will be calling her soon!

I have hired Urban Spaces on several occasions. She is extremely creative, very professional, and really helped me push the envelope to have spaces that I am super satisfied with. She has high quality tastes but also really knows how to get the most out of a budget. She is a master at splurge/save in order to put together a space that looks high end but doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
