I brought Tina into what was basically an impossible situation; to help renovate and re-design my newly purchased home that was damaged by flooding before I even had a chance to move in. Our first meeting was in a house with no walls, floors, ceilings, or electricity and somehow Tina could still envision a plan for a classically styled home with some modern touches. As someone who has never worked with a designer before, it has been an eye-opening experience working with Tina. She has shown me many options that I would never have found if I was looking myself, all while being respectful of the budget set by my insurance company. Over our time working together she has dialed in to my style and now every option she presents is well suited to me and my home. I never even saw my kitchen cabinet pulls in person before purchasing them and still they turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Tina also meets with the subcontractors on my project and I have total confidence that she will get the job done right. It has been such a relief to have Tina to watch over the details through all the stages of my renovation – you won't go wrong hiring TDF Interiors.

My neighbors stop in front of my house and tell me how much they like the paint colors on my small ranch house. I asked Tina Dann-Renwick to help me select appropriate colors for the exterior of my house. I wanted a certain look with a "Wow" factor but not one too loud and ostentatious. She arrived with several books of colors--far more colors than I'd seen at the Benjamin Moore shop. We worked thorough a number of schemes and settled on a pale gray-blue body color, a darker, almost-Navy trim color, white window mullions and a bright cheery red door. A pretty simple combination until you start working through all the color variations. She ordered 8" x 11" color proofs to make sure we liked the colors. Her choices were spot on. I've had 5 neighbors compliment me on the house colors. One says she will ask me for the paint colors in the spring. Tina also helped design our new Great Room at my church, the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. A far larger project than selecting paint colors for my house. She did a remarkable job there, advising a large group on the design committee--not an easy task. I'm very pleased with her color selections and advice.

From our first experience with Tina, through our most recent design project, she has demonstrated her expertise at creating beautiful and sophisticated environments that reflect the style and feel that we wanted for our home. Always professional, Tina has an exceptional fund of design knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge, combined with a terrific attention to detail that was key to the room designs we desired.

Tina was wonderful to work with! So good at incorporating all of our feedback, likes, dislikes, and practical needs into finding fabrics, furniture styles, etc. She designed a gorgeous new fireplace for us, along with finding furniture, drapery, and other items that give our home the cheerful, relaxing, yet pulled-together vibe we really wanted. Tina has a great eye for patterns and color, and she also helped us honor the historic architecture of our house while updating things in a fresh, fun way. We appreciate that she also helped us solve myriad practical issues, like how to block light in some places and embrace it in others, how to find couch fabrics our cat wouldn't immediately sink his eager claws into, and finding a comfy way to watch TV as a family. Our redesigned living room is not just beautiful but also practical.
