Unprofessional and Terrible workmanship. Took over a year to finish pool. During project, they were unresponsive and continue to be so despite a known leak that has been an issue since shell was poured.

I would love to give them 5 stars. We started off with a great relationship, design and construction process. After being promised a 3 month completion dates and 6 months into the work, we are not done and Selective Designs, nor Georgia Pools is interested in resolution. While they are very knowledgeable, their team does not execute in a timely fashion or with the utmost professionalism after requiring and receiving substantial payments. Shane is an award-winning designer and will tout his accolades. But when this was turned over to his construction company, he lost credibility.

Shane at Selective Designs has a very unique eye for landscaping and for making my backyard become our Oasis that we never want to leave! He is very open and honest and listens to what you are looking for and sticks with the budget that fits our needs! We would totally recommend him!!

We had a much smaller budget in mind for a pool but we asked Shane to design something more significant. We fell in love with the design immediately and we were sold on the bigger project. Shane is creative and very knowledgeable. The entire staff at Selective Designs is very helpful too.

Shane LeBlanc designs some of the best pools and outdoor landscapes in the world. We are extremely lucky to have such a natural talent available in the Atlanta metro area. We have collaborated with Shane on numerous projects and our clients are always thrilled with his over the top ideas!

We hired Selective Designs to design and build an outdoor living area with pool, fireplace, deck, etc. Designing was the easy part, and the end result is quite lovely. That said the project execution was painful and way more difficult than necessary extending beyond six months for a modest project with ongoing construction details/ issues still remaining today. Shifting their focus to customer service, (e.g., returning customer calls/emails, organizational improvement, employee project management training, professionalism and follow-through such as showing up when promised,etc,) could turn Selective Designs into a five star company some day. For now Selective Designs is stretched beyond their capacity and more focused on selling new designs than they are delivering results and setting expectations to existing customers.

They worked with me to stay within my budget and the improvements they made to my front yard are amazing. My house has such curb appeal now! I couldn't be happier.

We were more than satisfied with the job done! They took my muddy backyard and turned it into something worthy of Southern Living Magazine! My husband wanted a water feature and they gave us two mountain streams with waterfalls that joined at the bottom. The landscaping and lighting added such a wonderful touch. They were mindful that we lived in a town home and needed to be considerate of our neighbors. All the workers were considerate and professional. The job was done on time and within our budget! I am looking forward to doing my front yard next spring!

Selective Designs designed and installed our pool over two years ago. They were very competitively priced and we were very happy with the end result! We have had no major problems and they were very attentive to the very small ones that did occur. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a pool or outdoor living area at their home. Selective Designs has almost completed our new pool and outdoor living space. It is a beautiful custom design by Shane LeBlanc, including a large travertine patio, a spa with three spillways into pool, a raised circular patio and a stream and waterfall into the pool with natural boulders. All work has been ontime, even coming in possibly 3- 4 weeks earlier than expected. The staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable and accommodating to changes we have made along the way. Their craftsmen are skilled professionals who are hard working and dedicated to perfection. We cannot wait to see the final product!!

We hired Selective Designs to design and build a new backyard. The final result was a new two-level deck with a full covered roof, a large outdoor patio with a 45,000 gallon custom designed pool and new landscaping. Given the size of the project and the complexity - we prepared ouselves for the process. From start to finish it took 6 weeks! It wasn't a rush job either - we had several days during the process get devoted to breaking down pavers or stonework that Shane felt needed to be redone (attention to quality was amazing). What impressed us most in working with Shane and Selective designs was the quality of design (truly world-class) the attention to quality, and the quality and professionalism of his staff. So many times, you can encounter subs/groups of workers that are difficult to deal with - not with Selective Designs - the entire outfit is sharp, professional, and very good at what they do. Our custom fireplace with water feature (rain curtain) is stunning! We routinely have at least 1 person per week knock on our door and compliment us on the back yard and ask to see it in detail - as they consider a similar project for their own home. These are our neighboors - and since the completion of our pool I know at least 4 others are underway. Shane is truly gifted and talented at what he does - his vision and the end result have been delightful. If you want world-class design, world-class quality, and a company that will give you complete peace of mind during the process (due to their attention to you and their responsiveness) - hire Selective Designs.

I am a experienced construction law attorney and large project developer from South Florida. We purchased a shaggy dog older home In Chastain/Buckhead area. Selective Designs, through it's President/owner Shane LeBlanc, working with my engineers, architects and the general contractor recommended by him, transformed our home into a structure and hard scape wherein the very hilly wooded acre site became a very attractive originally landscaped property with natural stone used on terraced walls and the facade of the house by his stone masons. His designs were constructed in a timely workman like manner by skilled crews having the necessary equipment. The crown jewell of our home is the pool, travatine deck, back patio and pavilion with a stone, marble and stainless steel grill; all surrounded by lighted landscaped terraces. They have a top financial rating checked by me; but most important, they paid all materialmen and sub-contractors timely. I recommend the company, it was my primary contractor.

We hired Shane and Selective Designs for our pool and landscape project. The level of service was top notch and the project was completed on time. We were very satisfied with the project and will continue to use Selective Designs for future projects.

We hired Selective Designs to help us with a complex design for our backyard--pool, fire pit, cooking area, and sport court on a very sloped lot. The process of creating the design went smoothly, the project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. All of the workers at the site were professional, courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each workday. We are thrilled with our new backyard and the pool, which we use year-round.

Shane LeBlanc and the entire Selective Designs team did a superb job planning and constructing a completely landscaped backyard and pool for our home. Not only is our backyard a beautiful extension of our home's living space, but Shane's commitment to customer service made this the most enjoyable construction project we have ever been involved with. Since this pool project, we have also hired Selective Designs to repair and redesign our front yard and driveway which has also been a very positive experience.
