RJD’s Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) Reinforcing Bar weighs 75% less than steel bar. It resists corrosion, is electromagnetically neutral, and acts as a thermal insulator. It’s perfect for use in projects exposed to seawater/salts or other corrosive agents as well as applications that require electromagnetic neutrality. FiberDowel™, GFRP dowel bar, is comparable to steel but will never corrode. Its material properties make it an electrical and thermal insulator, and it’s electromagnetically transparent, a uniquely valuable trait in some applications. SpliceSeal™ is a physical encapsulation system for mechanical rebar splice couplers. The unique “shrink fit” tubing, combined with specially formulated adhesion materials, creates an absolute seal of mechanical couplers, including all screws and/or protrusions — without the use of any coatings, paints, or epoxies. Plus, SpliceSeal™ will never chip. Our Joint-Free Slab technology uses an engineered crack-inducing on-ground 3’ x 3’ grid to dissipate the effects of drying shrinkage as uniformly as possible. Fine cracks form throughout the entire area of the slab, allowing it to expand and contract naturally with no adverse effect on applied surface finishes.
