We were extremely impressed that Karen got, very quickly, on to our wavelength as to what we wanted to achieve with our characterful cottage. This made choosing the fabrics from her recommendations very easy. The resulting curtains and blinds were expertly made and fitted. Overall an excellent experience.

Karen and her team have been thoroughly professional throughout the process. At no time was there any hard sell. She listened to our views, made suggestions when asked and we are delighted with the final outcome. Her team respected our home and left us a lovely living area.

We have lived in our house for a long time and love the location. Having updated our kitchen we realised that we wanted to change the rest of the house to marry up with its more contemporary style. We decided to renovate but couldn’t agree on what changes to make or where to start. We needed somebody to come up with a solution that we both loved. We discovered Renaissance Interiors on the Houzz website and were attracted by their work. We made contact with Karen, liked what she had to say and took the next step. We talked at some length about the project. Renaissance Interiors created a range of designs for each room. What helped us enormously were the computer-generated images of the favoured designs. This made it so much easier to visualise the look of each room. As Renaissance Interiors had links to a team of tried-and-trusted trades and suppliers we were very happy for Karen to manage the project to take the weight off our shoulders. She worked tirelessly on getting every aspect right; sourcing materials and furnishings and ensuring that the project ran smoothly. Even when we came up against unexpected issues, she worked on our behalf to find a prompt resolution. We now have underfloor heating to the whole ground floor, two brand new bathrooms, a refurbished oak staircase with pull-out storage and oak doors throughout the house. The lounge fireplace was replaced and the new chimney breast houses the fire and TV, creating more space. The whole house has been redecorated including new carpets and flooring, all new furniture, made-to-measure curtains and blinds, resulting in a what feels like a ‘new’ home and we love it! Would we recommend Renaissance Interiors, Hartley Wintney? – absolutely! Their customer service, patience and determination to get it right is second to none.

We invited Karen to our new build home to help transform neutral rooms into something more homely. We are delighted with the finish, the kitchen is no longer an echoing cold space but warm and cosy and the addition of subtle lighting and wallpaper in the lounge has made it a place to relax. Karen has been an inspiration to me having downsized properties in 2021. My late 1950s bungalow was tired and needed updating which involved a major revamp of an unattractive wet room. I was seeking a quadrant shower which necessitated the construction of a narrow floor to ceiling wall to allow for this to be fitted. Karen's ideas of repositioning the wash hand basin and using a folding door enabling there to be more space in the bathroom was great. Her vision for the choice of wall and floor tiles and blind were brilliant. Karen knows many tradespeople and the task was well executed by those involved. Thank you from a delighted customer!

Karen worked on the reconfiguration and extension of the entire ground floor of my detached home. She did a splendid job on the interior design and helped enormously with its smooth execution. Karen is a sensible investment, in what was for her a modest budget. Karen is committed and hard working. She has a natural sense of style and is not afraid to argue her case. Her calm, challenging demeanor is just what you need in the thick of a stressful building project. She knows products and supply chains, is organised and efficient. Just want to put on record what a fabulous job Karen Chapman of Renaissance Interiors has done with the supply and fit of a beautiful curtain and curtain rail in one of our spare bedrooms. This was a particularly difficult job there being no lintel above the window to fix a curtain rail as the window is a dormer where the ceiling directly meets the top of the window. Furthermore, the ceiling was particularly crooked so attaching a pole to make the whole thing level certainly wasn’t an easy task to be undertaken by an amateur in these matters like myself. Karen and her fitter rose to the challenge and have done a really splendid job and we highly recommend her business for all your curtaining and furnishings. She will make your home look really great (and level!).
