Having never built a custom home from scratch, I was nervous about the process and all of the decisions we had to make. As our designer, Mary Petron, guided us through it all, from choices of tile, counters, cabinetry, paint colors, carpeting, window treatments, etc- she helped coordinate everything and we are extremely happy with the outcome. She works with the lifestyle of her clients and then adds her own creative talent to make unique, interesting, and amazing interior designs. Mary and her team coordinated the deliveries and made certain each step of their design was carried out properly-very hands on. It was a delight working with Petron Design and we are thrilled with our beautiful new home.

Mary was a tremendous help making our new house feel like our forever home! She worked with our builder to make design changes that better fit our needs. Her detailed drawings helped us visualize the finished product and helped us decide what furnishings from our previous house we could use and where to put them. From wallpaper, window dressing, and countertop selections to new furniture selection, she helped us express our own style. We couldn't be happier and we couldn't have done it without Mary Petron!!

Having added our furniture from a prior Florida home, we wanted to keep the spirit of the original design and blend in our furniture. My experience with Petron Design was one that makes me smile when I think about it. To say that I could not have done it without their commitment to detail, trust and open communication would be an understatement. Building a second new home and living 2500 miles away was the beginning of what could have been a very stressful situation, however I had the pleasure to work with Mary Petron, and she eased all of my worries and took control of every detail that was needed. One of things that I appreciated the most was that she saw my vision and my dream; and she made it a reality. Every fabric, every light fixture, every window treatment came to life because Mary listened to want I wanted and worked incredibly hard to select my style, which ultimately created 'my beautiful home." It has been 2 1/2 years since I started my project with Mary and I am still working with her on different selections for my house, and that is because I value her opinion and her work is impeccable.

Mary Petron and her team took our abstract ideas and redesigned our home into a warm, inviting home with uniques spaces. The result was a sophisticated design that far exceeded our expectations. She is extremely knowledge of balance and symmetry and added just the right touches to our spaces that created better function and style. I would highly recommend her and her team for your next job. She did superfluous work with our kitchen, lighting, master bedroom suite, family room and overall entire home. It was an amazing job.

Mary Petron was an invaluable assist as we transitioned from a "Georgian Colonial" home in the North to this retirement property in Florida. Her extensive knowledge of design coupled with considerable creativity-was remarkable. Mary proposed new and unique ways to use our existing furnishings and antiques in varied locations through out the house. her contributions were very cost-saving for us! Further, she secured other highly skilled professionals to work as needed( upholstery craftsmen and mirror/artwork mounting crews etc.). She was a perfect resource for local retailers who were likely to stock certain furnishings/ materials needed to complete "the look" we desired. Mary has wonderful communication skills, is always dependable and thorough in her work and quickly becomes your go-to professional for all interior design projects and renovations.

Mary designed the interior of our entire home from top to bottom. We couldn't have asked for a better professional. She was always available and helped us make choices that we were thrilled with. I have worked with Mary at Petron Design for 10 years. She has worked with me on two major projects. One in 2000 was a renovation of an older home and currently I am building a new home. HOME RENOVATION Major upgrade of living space. Livingroom wall was out of balance. Designed and supervised the construction of a new wall to make it appear that the wall was in balance. ( I wish I had a picture of the before and after because it was dramatic.) Designed and supervised bathroom renovations including adding a bath to a secondary room making a two bedroom home have three bedrooms. Supervised the renovation of the kitchen. Also did color outs of the whole house. I still have the furniture from that project and will use most of it in my new home. NEW HOME CONSTURCTION Helped design living space in planning stage. Supervised the placement of lighting and electric. Designing and will have consructed built-ins through out the house. Advise on design, color and placement of furniture. It is hard to detail all that Mary does for me. She has great design insight, color and balance assessment. She is easy to work with and is always open to working with my ideas. I have used her multiple times because I can trust that my project will turn out the way I have envisioned. Petron Design gets the job done with good people.

Great work. Work involved a dining room accent wall with mirrors and light sconces and a custom window treatment over 2 sets of french doors in the living room. Also some other design touches. All the work was done tailored the design to all requirements. Very professional team. Estimates were timely and accurate. No surprises.

Mary Petron was hired to customize many parts of the house being built for us in Florida including kitchen, bathrooms, summer kitchen, ceiling beams, fireplace, lighting and other details and finishes. When the house was done, Mary helped us arrange and display our diverse art collection and furniture totally understanding the "ethnic contemporary" look we wanted. Mary has an excellent overall design sense along with a great sense of color, texture and light and her little sketches are very detailed and excellent for visualizing what the final results will look like. Mary was also a total pleasure to work with--staying on budget and promptly returning all emails and phone calls. My wife and I are THRILLED with the results and would never do another house without Mary.
