Urban Tree Salvage

I purchased a oak living edge dining table from Urban Tree a month ago and have been enjoying it. unfortunately my wife was doing crafts on it and spilled some hot water and left small mark. A quick desperate phone call the the staff at Urban Tree Salvage told me to put a tea towel on top with a iron and it disappeared right away. We love our table and have received great service from the people at uts. keep up the good work!

My wife and I spent about a year and a half searching the GTA for a custom barn-board table that wouldn't cost so much that we'd also have to use it as a bed/sofa/roof. While we started with some companies in the tri-city area, we found that Melissa from UTS was insanely patient and knowledgeable with us, walking us through our options towards getting a table that we wanted, before we had committed to anything. In the end, she managed to work with our budget, to create a beautiful table that will be the focal point of our living room for years to come....as long as we manage to buy chairs and paint with a bit more urgency :) Living in the GTA myself, I had a miserable time trying to coordinate with the companies based out of the tri-cities. Maybe they just aren't interested in communicating online, but Melissa and Felix from UTS were always available to answer our questions in whatever way we got in touch (in-person, phone, or email.)

I bought a coffee table about a year ago from them and have been happy with it! Service was great, and they know their products! I have since been back eyeing up one of those live edge tables for my new place. Always pretty busy there, which is always a good sign! Some amazing pieces of raw wood as well down the back!

Was there over the weekend to buy some wood slabs for a table i want to build. i do not have much woodworking experience, but they were very helpful helping me pick out the right pieces and giving me information on how to get started.
