The whole process from beginning to end was so enjoyable. Chris is professional, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Chris and the whole team were charged with a total remodel of our master bath. All communications from beginning to end were professional and timely. We hired Chris to redo our front porch in low maintenance Azec decking materials. The front porch came out beautifully with all new decking, stairs, rails and columns. It gave our house a much more updated and refreshed look. Chris was always easy to reach and he always responded to our requests promptly. We now continue on with Chris and his team to reconstruct our back deck.

I contracted with Kehoe Kustom to renovate my 1950's Cape Cod style home. Chris drew up three proposals-one for a new deck, one for siding and windows and one for a finished basement. Everything was detailed with allowances for costs and materials. The project started outside and included new siding and replacing all the windows and exterior doors. New gutters were installed and drainage away from the foundation was improved. The outside fireplace chimney was re-stuccoed and the foundation was refaced. Outside work was completed with new walkways and a block patio under the deck. New landscaping enhanced the completed outdoor renovations. The finished basement work included dividing the space into a laundry/utility area, a large walk in closet, a half bath and family room. The dark cinder block and cement space was transformed into a light and inviting family room/office area. Inside the house all new doors and trims were installed which included baseboard, window trim and crown molding. The whole interior was painted and interior lighting was updated. The scope of the project had many parts but I was able to live in the home during all renovations. Chris and his crew were great to work with. The building site was cleaned up every day. Chris always communicated to let me know what his schedule would be. Chris kept me informed of the project's progress and gave good advice when I needed to make choices about colors, fixtures and materials. Chris was very good at taking my ideas and creating the finished look I really wanted while also considering my budget. Chris really transformed a run down, dated 1950's Cape Cod and turned it into a modern, charming, brand new cottage. Neighbors have commented that it is the prettiest house on the street.

Kehoe Kustom removed our outdated shutters and added trim around the windows. What a difference it made, the trim made our house look so beautiful. Neighbors commented on how nice the house looks. I truly love the outcome, and the quality of work done. The job was completed as promised.

Chris and his helper did an excellent job rebuilding my front porch steps. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship. I plan to hire Chris for future projects.

Kehoe Kustom (Chris) rebuilt the deck off of our kitchen, which is elevated about 15 feet off the ground and measures approximately 550sq ft. Given the elevation, size and scaffolding requirements, the job was on the complex side relative to other deck re-builds. Chris and his team were incredible professional, easy to work with and detail oriented. During the bidding phase of the project, Chris was extremely thorough and thoughtful about material section, quality and project related trade offs (use of composite vs real wood, deck drainage system, etc). Chris was on site for virtually the entire job, overseeing every phase of the construction. The Kehoe team did a great job on the deck and Chris identified some important design changes that improved the functionality and added to our usable space. I can't say enough about the quality of the work and how happy we are with the deck. Subsequent to completion of the job, Chris has been extremely responsive on follow-up and has stood by his work without question. Chris of Kehoe Kustom, LLC removed a decaying existing porch and replaced using modern low maintenance products. The project began on time and was completed when promised. The level of craftsmanship displayed in the finished product is truly reminiscent of a bygone era. Details in the trim and the quality of fit and finish is exemplary. I hired Kehoe Kustom to oversee and build out my backyard resort project. This project included a pool install, patio, pergola, deck, outdoor fireplace, landscaping, hardscape and a septic relocation. Chris and his team handled my project from inception, design and build. With the complexity and detail of the project, several specialists were needed and Chris has all the contacts in the market and the ability to manage the various stages of the build. On May 1st, 2015, we closed on our first home. We needed a 15' Ramp leading to the backdoor to be removed in order to complete the transaction with our mortgage lender. With only a 60-day time-frame to have the old ramp dismantled and discarded, a new staircase built in its place and to have it reinspected back to code, we needed the best and we needed it fast. After having lost a week waiting around to hear back from a handyman the sellers-broker quoted the work with for the closing to take place, we decided to take action. With the advice of a friend who also had a good experience with Kehoe, we made the easy decision to give him a call. After explaining our situation, Chris agreed to come check out the job the very next day. A day later we had our quote and peace of mind that the work would be completed swiftly but also professionally by true craftsmen with integrity and who take pride in their work. One week later, as promised, Chris and his crew were at our house taking care of business. At this point, I don't even recall what the ramp looked like because it was gone before I got home from work that day and replaced by a lovely and sturdy new staircase. In one (long) day the work was complete and ready for inspection. Thank you Kehoe Kustom for making the project a painless success. I'm looking forward to having them back to build us a deck.

My wood front porch was replaced with composite material. From the proposal to the completed project I was completely happy with Chris and his staff. All of my expectations of the project was fulfilled. The workmanship and quality of the materials was top quality. Chris did a couple of projects for us in 2014. He repaired our deck, making modifications. He also hand built a swing set for our daughter which came out perfect. The project entailed design elements and building techniques that insulated the house by wrapping it with insulation panels then covering those panels with high-quality siding. Kehoe Kustom, LLC also removed and replaced the roof, removed an old deck and replaced with an attractive decking material that needs no maintenance. Kehoe Kustom also introduced me to local vendors that showcased energy-efficient building products in order to replace windows as well as select a foam product to insulate basement and attic. Chris was able to complete this multi-faceted project on time and within budget. He was always available and was on the job site at all times. During the Winter 2015, Chris removed a large ice dam on the roof; repaired the utility room that was damaged by the ice; and developed a plan to eliminate any future ice dam problems by removing a portion of the gutter system and creating a rock garden to channel the water away from the house. We had seen some of Chris Kehoe's work of Kehoe Kustom and was impressed so we decided to hire Chris Kehoe to renovate our galley bathroom. We met before we went on a month long vacation and finalized the plans. We chose the main fixtures but a lot of the other details such as paint color, tiles and floor were open for Chris to be creative and he pleasantly was. I had seen a vanity that I wanted in Massachusetts but it was unavailable in New York. I showed a picture of the vanity to Chris and asked him if he could build me that vanity and he said he would. When we got back and saw the bathroom, we were in shock. It was so different from what we had, it looked like a showroom bathroom. It had crown molding, custom made cabinets that afforded me more space to put things in than what I had. Chris' eye for detail is amazing. The silver edging at the end of the tiles was like the icing on the cake not-to-mention the custom made double vanity and the granite countertop he chose to match. I asked him to make me a shelve on the bottom of the vanity so that I could put baskets which he did and the ornate legs on the vanity is so beautiful. Chris chose a color for the walls that is neutral with a pop of color in the tile around the tub. By the way, this bathroom was gutted to the studs and the job was completed before we got back from our vacation. But aside from the bathroom, we had Chris and his workers move duct work, plumbing pipes, and do some electrical work. He also put in a new bathroom window and new trim and mill work around all the doors in our home. It was amazing. Can you tell I am overjoyed with how our bathroom was renovated. As bathrooms go, the details is what makes it one of a kind. Would I recommend him, you bet!

Chris and team did a fantastic job. Not only did they have the vision but they also have the skill and discipline to get the job done on time, on budget and right. Kehoe Kustom built a home for us on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Although this job was far afield from their home base, Chris did a great job of finding capable subcontractors to assist his team with the project.. He also did well keeping on budget. The project involved arranging for demolition of an existing structure, raising the site to allow for a full height basement (and protect against flooding),constructing a three story structure which has withstood the battering of the lake winds. KK also constructed the kitchen cabinetry. There is further finishing work to be done as funds allow and we always wait for KK to be available when we are ready to proceed. Happy customers here!

Chris completed a major renovation on my home in this past winter of 2014. He and all his employees were a joy to work with during the entire process. We basically had a complete remodel, new roof, new front porch, small addition, all new floors and major structural work to allow an open floor plan. Chris and his team completed this project while maintaining the home as livable. Also, they managed to execute it, including the substantial outdoor work during the coldest, snowiest winter in 25 years - definitely dedication to the project. I am an engineer, who generally has completed much of my own renovation/construction. This project was a bit large for me, so I decided to use a contractor. The result was good and their quality of work is solid, particularly their finish work. I would both use Kehoe construction again and also recommend them to others. Good luck!

Chris was initially referred to me by Kuiken Bros.of Warwick back in 2009 to install an entry door that I had purchased there. Since that time I have hired Kehoe Kustom to complete several projects, including the complete renovation of our master bathroom (which my wife and I absolutely love and continue to receive compliments on). The quality and craftsmanship of his tile work on the bathroom project in particular was first rate. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than I would Chris and his team. Chris Kehoe and his company are an outstanding group of contracting professionals. Chris' motto is "above code" which means all of his work exceeds the architectural codes for compliancy with construction performance. Chris was contracted by me to perform repairs to my roof; install a new fabricated chimey cap; perfrom under vinyl siding repairs; and re-finishing entirely the front porch and re-levelling (stabilizing with posts/anchors) both of the porches in the front and rear of the house. Chris I luckily found through a google search and from the very first conversation we had he was knowledgeable; understanding; and prompt in both his estimates and subsequent related work. As these repairs unfortunately simply couldn't wait (there was exposed areas damaged from the rain and the wind from a hurricane), Chris and his staff quickly met this aggressive schedule head-on and completed these repairs with unparalled skill and determination. Chris himself was on the roof doing and supervising the work and was everything you could ever ask for in a skilled professional. Either with residential or commercial work, you will see a person with integrity; honesty; and pure carpentry skill. With regards to budgeting the work, Chris estimates were very fair and did not change to garnish a larger profit margin as the work progressed. He budgeted for what the job was and described very clearly all the work to be performed. Chris stuck to his estimates and they did not magically grow or cut corners(as with some contractors), if the project took longer then projected. It is hard to find a professional such as this, and it is your luck to contract him to do any work either large or small in your business or home!

I bought an older home in the summer. It came with 2 sets of sliding doors that were side by side. Chris removed the doors and replaced the space with a large double door and 2 large glass side panels. The effect is perfect. Chris and his team are very talented as well as professional.
