Brian and his team at Brolly design have been the reason we succeeded in achieving our vision of a complete refurbishment of our Edwardian semi in Wimbledon. Brolly managed the architectural plans, council planning approval and then the entire building project. This involved a new loft conversion and complete remodelling of the ground floor to include an extended kitchen and a new utility, cloakroom and pantry. Brian proved to be a talented architect, gently encouraging us to consider his clever and imaginative plans. They have proved to be a triumph. We have a home that is, in terms of technology, very much in the twenty first century, but respects the original features of the building and its heritage. At every stage, Brian proved he had the experience to deal with suppliers and construction teams with impressive skill, tenacity and genuine good humour. He was superbly responsive and showed great understanding of our natural anxieties in such a major project. We were always aware that, as his clients, our interests were first and foremost in his priorities and he showed genuine respect for our budget. He has the personal skills and qualities to navigate tricky situations expertly and deftly and a professionalism and sense of proportion that proved invaluable in such a massive undertaking. We could not have wished for a better or more engaging architect to manage our project. This would be a ten star review if such existed!

All the team at Brolly Design were excellent. Professional, reliable and brimming with good ideas as well as being great listeners who were focussed on providing us with what we wanted. We contacted a number of Architects to help us with our home renovation and Brian was our clear favourite. Friendly, approachable and brimming with ideas, we have loved working with him from the initial meeting right through to our recent completion. This was our first renovation so we were definite novices but Brian guided us through the process, holding our hand when we needed it whist also allowing for our own creative input. Looking at the finished product now, we are so happy with the look and feel of our home, and there are so many practical and design-led ideas that Brian gave us that we would never have thought about ourselves! Brian also worked seamlessly with our Builder and we felt like a was a three-way team process throughout. This reassured us through the stages that we were on track as well as trusting the delivery and standard of work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brian as an Architect - our experience of working with him was second to none.

Brian - Brolly - is an absolute lifesaver and a man of infinite patience. He designed a complicated extension/outbuilding project for us, did an outstanding job, then stood by and repeatedly rescued us from a frankly unbelievable succession of problems, issues, shenanigans and insanely unreliable building professionals. Should be noted none of these problems were anything to do with him. Had he not been so patient and resourceful, it's no exaggeration to say that we would have been left without a kitchen and quite possibly without several walls and a section of roof. Not only is Brian's core work excellent, but his dedication to seeing things through is above and beyond to the point of fantasy. We came out the other side with a great job done and several new friends. 11/10 would extend again

We used Brian to help us with ideas for a kitchen redesign. He was really supportive along the way and came up with various recommendations based on different budgets. This helped us get an idea of what we could realistically afford to do. Brian then assisted throughout the whole process, running a tendering process and ultimately had oversight of the whole works. Really professional and always helpful from start to finish. I have recommended him to friends.

We hired Brian (of Brolly Design) as our architect for a ground floor extension and an internal configuration, which included the removal of supporting walls. Our flat is a ground floor flat in a large Victorian house in Forest Hill, South East London. We first spoke to Brian in 2017 to initially discuss this project and finally had the funds to complete the project in 2019. Brian has been a great source of advice and wisdom, helping us every step of the way. It's been great having that support from the first initial idea we had (and knowing zero about the process) to the completion of this process. The plans that Brian drew up for us were incredibly detailed and of the highest quality. Brian was very receptive to making changes to the plans, no change was too small. Brian has a really good sense of what would work in the envisaged space and found a fantastic way of maximising the space that we have. Brian also acted as our project manager throughout the construction of the project; having someone that knew the plans and we trusted provided that reassurance during the construction phase and ensured that we could be confident that we were making the right decisions. It was very obvious from watching the interactions with the builders that he is very knowledgeable around a building site and was willing to challenge the builders to ensure the best outcome. Brian is communicative and accommodating of last minute requests and was willing to intervene at short notice when needed. For the quality, attention to detail and support we would say that Brolly Design is really good value for money, and Brian has been fantastic to work with.

Working with Brian, of Brolly Design, is easy due to him operating in an open and collaborative way. The most recent project we worked on together, a bespoke kitchen to a North London property, had many challenges to overcome, which would only have been possible with open dialogue and concise decision making from Brian. The end result pays tribute to Brian's original vision for the space, with the many built elements, materials and textures all coming together to give the 'wow' factor.

We used Brolly Design for our ground floor rear and side extension as well as redesigning the internal layout. Brian from Brolly Design has been extremely professional and a perfectionist. We had a tricky situation where our neighbour's gutter was overhanging into our property where we wanted to build our extension. Brian came up with a solution to keep our neighbour happy without too much compromise on our design. He also came up with some great solutions as the build went on. We are very pleased with our new home and wouldn't have been possible without Brian.

Our project has exceeded expectations due to Brolly Designs. They managed our concept and design to planning approval (Westminster), and interior design and project management. Starting with a small space, Brolly maximised every inch to create an amazing 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat with indoor / outdoor living flow. We had a number of contentious issues during planning which Brolly managed to get favourable outcomes on each time. Our construction project was smooth due to the level of detail considered during the design process, which meant decisions had been made before the project started preventing delays or overruns by the builders.
