DeVinci Cast Stone

All our dealings with De Vinci cast stone were pleasant and helpful. We received a beautiful cast stone fireplace which included detailed instructions and all turned out exactly as we had hoped. The residential customer we installed the fireplace was extremely happy. Will definitely deal with this company again in the future.

I purchased a cast stone fireplace surround with mantel and hearth from DeVinci Cast Stone and I have to say the entire process was awesome! From choosing and designing the surround to the finished project was flawless. DeVinci called and emailed me several times to keep me informed on my order and even called several times after I received the surround to make sure I was satisfied and to see if I needed help to unpack, install and care for my new surround. We initially had a very positive experience with DeVinci. Savanna was the representative assigned to our project (a custom fireplace mantle) and she was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the various stages of our project. When the finished product arrived, it became evident there was an error in the measurement as it was 1.25 inches too short for the space. A thorough review of emails made it clear that Savanna had stated on three different occasions her awareness of us not having a hearth (i.e. "With your interest in having no hearth, I have removed it completely from your sketch because I cannot provide anything thinner than the 1-1/2” thickness"), but despite saying she had removed it, she clearly neglected to omit it from the final sketches which were used to produce the finished product. DeVinci blamed US for this error and said we should have noticed their mistake and pointed it out to them ("you signed off on the sketch"). They offered some solutions (all at additional cost to us), many of which were not aesthetically pleasing. Ultimately, we decided that the best option was to actually install a hearth that was 1.25 inches in thickness in order to account for their mistake. This was done at our expense. When we asked to speak with the head of the company (Leilani Rose) to discuss possibly splitting the additional expense, both Savanna and Leilani stopped responding to all emails and calls. The finished product (now that it is installed, one month after it arrived) is well-made and attractive, but the lackluster customer service and one month long headache that ensued from their mistake (as well as their total disengagement from us) makes us regret working with DeVinci Cast Stone.

Customer service has been top class. We needed an extra piece because of our mistake and they were eager to help. Really nice product. Looks great around our fireplace. We are very happy.

Nickie Hall is an exceptional designer and salesperson. She was the consummate professional, quick and efficient. From the moment I first met her, Ms. Hall efficiently and expertly answered all my questions and provided exacting designs and material to make moving forward on the project a painless effort. Not once, did she show the least fatigue at my numerous calls and follow-up queries. Ms. Hall went above and beyond what would be expected of her by working with the sales and manufacturer of my fireplace insert to insure that everything was perfect. She is, in my opinion, the most professional and talented salesperson that I can recall. Jimmie (I apologize, but I do not recall his last name), the installation supervisor was more than just an installer. I would say that he is an artist. He most assuredly is a perfectionist. I grossly underestimated the amount of time it took to install – my fault entirely. Each block was set with exacting care to insure proper alignment and placement. The levels employed were practically worn out on the installation as he repeatedly checked and rechecked to guarantee that every stone was placed perfectly. Despite having my presence hovering over him all day long, he was courteous, respectful, polite, and eager to answer any question I put to him. The meticulous care he took in applying the grout showed what an exceptional professional and artist that he is. I could not be more pleased with the result. You should know that I am quite possibly the harshest critic you will ever find. I make it a policy to hope for the best, but to plan for the worse in all my dealings with vendors and contractors. My attitude may seem bitter, but it comes from years of experience in the business world. Your company, in so far as your product and my dealings with these two individuals, has proved the exception to that rule.

It was pleasure working with DeVinci. The measuring and ordering was easy. My homeowner is very pleased with the look of their new fireplace surround.

My experience with DeVinci was outstanding. They were very helpful in the design process, shipped samples promptly and were competitive on pricing. The fireplace surround was beautiful and the shipping crate was very well designed to protect the finished product. Although my contractor did the installation, the installation guide was about 20 pages long and very detailed with numerous photos. I highly recommend DeVinci Cast Stone

We purchased the Soho QS and could not be more pleased with the overall look and installation of this product. The process of selecting the best mantle for our home, and the ease of ordering and receiving could not have been a better experience. We ordered a customized 42" Parisian fireplace surround and eyebrow hearth, modifying the height of the legs and hearth for our specific needs. Elizabeth Hall, "Nickie", was absolutely thorough and patient throughout a long selection and specification process, and always very pleasant to work with -- a joy, really! She answered many questions, and redrafted our hearth height multiple times, with great diligence. Her boss should know how great she is to work with!!! I selected DeVinci after researching several different cast stone companies' products. I felt they had some of the strongest designs and were relatively easy to assemble, given the # of pieces in each fireplace surround. The company I had long thought I would use had fussier instructions and fussier assembly, by comparison. These cast stone fireplaces are really beautiful and worth the effort, but they potentially require a good bit of research to find a skilled installer, depending on the size of your city and the availability of this skillset in your area. Our masons, who did a great job installing full-bed limestone fascia on our home's exterior, declined to do this kind of careful work, and our tile installer, whose work I knew in-depth and trusted, declined to do this type of job in "unknown territory". After a lot of calls in a mid-sized MW metro area, I hired a tile installer, not a mason, to do our fireplace installation — he had only installed one other cast stone fireplace. He did a competent job, but declined to use a grout bag for the joints (despite my urging), which I think would have left less grout on the fireplace surface. Clean work by your installer is paramount.

Very pleased with our fireplace! Our designer, Nickie worked up several quotes until we found the fireplace and options that worked best for us. Everyone at DeVinci was helpful and professional. We were very happy with the finished product and would definitely use them again.

When we started building our house over a year ago we knew we were going to put in a cast stone fireplace. Thirteen months later, we ended up buying not one, but two fireplaces. Devinci could not have been more helpful. Nickie helped us select a fireplace that matched the style of our house, as well as, helped us select a firebox to fit the mantel. Overall we could not be happier with our purchase.

They were very helpful and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted for my living room. They worked with my plans to design the fireplace. They were great showing the various options, colors and finishes in their yard. They coordinated the fireplace construction with my builder. It was a new house so they had to come out and do different parts of the fireplace construction as the house was being built. The firebox is built on site (real bricks, not a facade), it had to be built after framing. Once drywall and painting is complete the mantle is installed. I wanted the transition from the wood floor to the hearth to the firebox to be flat and they were able to accommodate me and specified how the marble was to be cut from the marble company. The model is the "Abbey" it is about 76" high and 102" wide. A nice sized fireplace for the large two story room. It has a herring bone pattern in the firebox. It is a wood burning capable model with a chimney.

Highly recommend cast stone mantle company. Just ordered the Canterbury Series mantle. The packing is unbelievable. Very professional designer sales associate name Amanda. Make sure you order the samples to be sure about the color.

I am a homeowner of a new construction in Little Rock, Arkansas; and we are building a contemporary house. I have been searching for a contemporary looking fireplace mantle which would go nicely along with the lines we had in our house, for a while, and I found DeVinci company online. We really liked the look of Newport Venti fireplace mantle, but did not know much about the proportions and how it would look in our house, since we have 21 feet ceilings in a 700 square foot open living/dining room. Haley Husmann from DeVinci did an ABSOLUTELY excellent job in accommodating our needs, coming up with sketches, revising them, etc. I even asked Haley to pull some strings to have this order ready to meet our deadline and I believe that I have received the fireplace mantle even a week or two earlier than scheduled, thanks to Haley. In my opinion, this fireplace is priced just right and the quality of product is definitely superior. What I did not expect was the quality of packaging when they delivered it. I was personally present in our construction site, when the delivery was made. The fireplace was literally packed with sprayed insulation foam with zero damage. The charge they make for the crates is definitely well worth it. The only suggestion that I could make to improve their already 5-star service is to make sure that their subcontractors who make the delivery, would be capable of leaving the crates on the driveway instead of curbside on the street. I was lucky enough to have some people working with a Bobcat to grade my driveway that day, so they put the forklift attachment to pull the crates into my garage. Otherwise, delivery truck was not capable of placing the crates on my driveway but only capable of leaving it on the street. Our DeVinci Newport Venti fireplace mantle is now installed in my living room and it looks fabulous!! We wholeheartedly recommend this company ( and Haley in particular) to do business without any reservation whatsoever.. Thanks Haley and DeVinci..

Working with DeVinci Cast Stone was absolute DREAM! I stumbled across their website when researching unique fireplaces on Houzz and on Pinterest, and I'm happy to say that their products look even more beautiful in person than they do online - something that I hardly thought would be possible. Though DeVinci Cast Stone is based many states away from our home in Pennsylvania, we received a response from them almost immediately and when it came time to receive our mantel, the pieces were in pristine condition. Their products are affordable yet effortlessly classic looking; My husband and I joke that our fireplace belongs in a small castle, it's just stunning! Keep in mind that their mantels are custom made just for you, and so it will likely take several weeks before you will receive the unit. Also, they're quite heavy so be sure that your floors can accommodate the weight (we built a support wall beneath our fireplace in our basement, just in case - but our house was a new construction anyhow). These are just two minor concerns that you will likely find with any fireplace company. Bottom line, if you're looking for a timeless accent to compliment your home, I would 100% recommend their services!

Reflection of Me – I have been designing and building ‘one of’ furniture for years and doing home remodeling as a sideline. Now that I have retired, I am making my hobbies, my passions, my new vocation. I LOVE my DeVinci cast stone fireplace surround !! The ordering process was easy and thorough. They asked all the right questions to ensure the dimensions were correct. Not only were these cast stone surrounds less expensive than what i could source locally but I was geographically close enough to be able to pick my fireplace surround up so it saved me shipping. The DeVinci staff ensured that I had a vehicle that could transport it (Uhaul) and the pickup process was a breeze. They even gave us a tour of the facility and how their products are made. Very cool! The only recommendation i have for DeVinci came from the stone mason who installed the fireplace and he suggested each piece be numbered to make installation easier. I would recommend DeVinci over and over. And for reference I have never once written a review but i decided to this time because they deserve it!!

The planning process was flawless and a great experience. The response and ease of design was great. The production process left me a little upset due to the delays but once the product arrived I was overtaken by the quality and beauty to the extent I considered the delay a worthwhile part of the process. We wanted a cast stone fireplace in our new home. I worked with DeVinci cast stone, and Lonnie was awesome. We were worried that the fireplace could overpower the room. Lonnie helped us choose one that was perfect. When asked how it would look, she made a professional engineering drawing of the fireplace with complete measurements. When asked to change the edges of the top mantle to a bullnose instead of a sharp edge, no problem. The installation went perfect. I recommend everyone to DeVinci Cast Stone.

I purchased a Nicoletta DeVinci Stone fireplace hearth and mantel for my outdoor living area. The ladies that assisted me with my purchase were extremely professional and courteous. They worked with my designer ensuring that we ordered the exact parts we needed. They also sent me a sample package with the different finishes and colors, which was a great help when deciding exactly what we wanted.
