Welcome. I am Angie Graham of Compliment Design. I have a passion, or obsession, for mid-century modern design but also have an affection for every other design style, except Tuscan. I love to be a part of creating a home that is not only alluring and beautiful, but additionally, has a sense of design cohesiveness that is noted but not forced. I prefer to collaborate with clients, architects and builders from the very early stages of a project (new build or remodel), when ideas and wishes are first presented, all the way to the final touches. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel joy with the beautiful and functional space we create together through our combined vision. The project is a success when the decor, dwelling, and space creates a feeling of peaceful exhilaration. #midcenturyinteriordesigner

Angie blew me away with our fast she able to get this project into full swing. She was super easy to communicate with and also helped consider my ideas and thoughts on the space with ease. I've worked with other interior designers as well and Angie has an unbeatable vision and eye for turning a space into something amazing. I cant wait to start the second and third phase of our work together. 10/10 do recommend.

Angie assisted me in a primary bedroom/bathroom addition. She is very creative and her ability to see and execute the finished project was refreshing. Angie is easy to work with and had great ideas that elevated the design and the outcome of this home addition.

Angie is the most creative, positive design consultant I have ever worked with. She always listens carefully to what I am telling her my ideas and needs are, but isn't afraid to make suggestions that are out of the box and really innovative and fun; solutions that totally make sense and have added so much to the rooms in our home. She is very organized and keeps both our goals and our budget in mind, and has an excellent sense of both traditional elements as well as very contemporary, and knows how to integrate them. She is well connected in the design community and always seems to know where to go and who to pull in to get the projects completed in a very timely manner. She has helped with a total mud room remodel, powder room remodel and large family room remodel, pulling in paint colors, tile, furniture, lighting and flooring. I've seen several examples of her work in other homes and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

We moved in to a vintage home that had been owned by the previous owner for 59 years and it was, while lovingly maintained, an absolute disaster. I contracted a designer and paid $6500 for an initial retainer. We needed to know where to start - what kind of molding, doors, door knobs, palette, kitchen design, windows. floor finishes. EVERYTHING. The designer came back with pages and pages of inspiration photos but nothing actionable. I was beside myself and had all the people showing up in just over a month and I hadn't even picked out a paint color. Someone suggested that I have Angie come by and after not even an hour long visit, she WAS AMAZING. She is super decisive and we went through room by room. Use a single console here, mixed metal light there, move this door to the left, run crown along here, subways there... One decision after another, as we walked through the house her vision, MY vision started to come to life. One hour with Angie was worth more than the $6500 fruitless engagement with another designer and all her pretty swatches that I had no way of purchasing. I could not be any more grateful for everything she has done for us and best of all, our house has now become a home. We are still waiting on a few fixtures and finishes, will post photos once the project is complete.

Working with Angie and her Compliment Design team was a blast! I'll be honest, I was hesitant to work with a designer. I had experiences previously where I felt "strong armed" by the designer's vision, and it really wasn't my style; which in turn, did not feel like our home and left us disappointed, to say the least, with our newly "designed" rooms. Angie is different. Angie listens, and while she may offer feedback, she is never "pushy," and I always felt like I could be totally honest with Angie, (though, we always seemed to be on the same page with the design). Angie was clear. responsive, and communicative from our first call throughout the entire process. I felt like our project was a collaborative process, and Angie was our expert leader. Her skillset is incredible, her creativity unmatched, and she can so easily see how a room should flow. I'm envious of her outright talent and artistic eye, but so grateful to have found her! I loved every step of working with Angie, and I can't wait to work with her again.

I have worked with Angie from Compliment Design on two $90-100K remodels, both which included kitchens as well as other sections of the home. One was at my main residence and one was at a short term rental property (VRBO), in a beach town. On both occasions, Angie started off by understanding what I was looking for - she spent the time upfront to understand my perspective as well as my budget. She then crafted well-thought out, functional designs to meet those needs. I asked Angie to bring new, creative designs to the table and to get me out of my comfort zone. Angie was understanding as we went back and forth a number of times before finalizing on the designs and details. She put new ideas in front of me and, yes, some of them took a while for me to come around on - she definitely took me out of my comfort zone! In both cases, the final outcome exceeded my expectations. Since the remodels, I have received multiple compliments on the design. On the VRBO property, the number of guests that voluntarily provide positive feedback on the design is staggering - they love it! I am very happy with how both projects turned out and I can not wait to work with Angie on my next, future project.

Angie did an absolutely fabulous job with the furnishings in my new residence in Denver, she has a wonderful eye for envisioning a floorplan and then implementing a design which is eclectic along with being practical. Her mid century modern motif for my residence could not have worked out more perfectly, she has an incredible eye for utilizing a myriad of colors, textures & tones which she brings together with the customer's input as it relates to their wishes & desires. This is the first time I have ever utilized the skillset of an interior designer, and to be completely honest I couldn't imagine ever doing it again without her astonishingly good taste.

Angie is a true professional! She is highly organized and her design ideas are unique, fun and always turn out amazing! She is great at complimenting my style while adding unique touches that made the project explode on the WOW factor. She was always on top of decisions, materials etc and her communication skills are top notch. Today's marketplace poses big challenges with procurement but Angie made it easy and was always on top of it. Angie is a pleasure to work with!!

I would absolutely work with Compliment Design again and I recommend them to everyone, regardless of your style. Angie has an amazing vision and can make her vision come to life, she can see things in a space that I would never have considered. She is a master of texture, fabric, colors, textiles, style and design. She can work within any budget and can bring your room to life with style and comfort. She has an easy going personality and is an amazing listener. She can visualize a space whether you are single or have a house full of kids. I have used her over and over, and will continue to use her every time we have project arise...big or small. I will never work with another designer again. If I have to move out of state, I will fly her to wherever I am living just to be able to work with her again.

You know that moment when you are on vacation, and you walk into the most beautiful hotel lobby or restaurant or home, and you are immediately in awe, and you think “dang, why can’t my own house look like this back home?” Hire Angie Graham! I assure you, when she is done, it will! She made my house one where when i walk in to this day, i still think “wait...I get to actually live here?!” Magazine stunning yet cozy livable. On top of her epic design skills, she is a blast to work with! You will quickly want to add her to every party invite just to have the chance to hang out with her. She’s witty and funny while being completely down to earth and so very easy to work with! I can’t wait to do so again. In the meantime, my Angie Graham magazine ready home awaits! We could not have been happier with Compliment Design and the design services Angie provided for us. She was always there to answer our questions and provide her insight and expertise. She made the project fun and helped us achieve a cohesive design theme throughout the house that we absolutely love. This included unique furnishings and finishes that we would never have found on our own. We would recommend Angie and her company without reservation for any new construction or remodel design projects, however large or small. We came from a traditional home and wanted to do something contemporary for our new home. Angie was perfect for this project as she personally likes mid century modern design. Working with Angie exceeded all expectations. She was there to support me in creating my dream home, not steering me away from what I know I love, but encouraging me to step a bit outside the box on some of the details of my home. As a result, it is a perfect reflection of our family, but also more fresh, exciting and beautiful than it would have been had I gone it alone. Compliment Design will do as much or as little as you want...I loved the flexibility of saying "Ok, totally hold my hand on this room" or "I'm good here, will you just review my picks and let me know if any are off base?" Angie and Kate of Compliment Design are a fantastic duo. They have a great synergy and their "design eye" is different yet has the same underlying vibe. They can transform a room no matter the budget size. If it is paint, window treatments or a full out remodel, these ladies are wonderful.
