This can be as simple as a new paint palette to wake up all your existing furnishings and "find" architecture you don't know you have, or as complex as help with every remodeling selection decision to include wood, stone, metal, exterior materials, tile design – all the parts of the greater whole that need to integrate seamlessly to create YOUR home and vision. Together we'll employ our collective and collaborative creativity, and my extensive color and agreement-creation passion to achieve this together on site – whether in a few hours for a paint palette, or several days or weeks for remodeling projects. It all started with the blessing of being born an Army Brat with crayons in hand who experienced cultures worldwide with an open heart and artist's eyes... I've been coloring the world ever since. The lowest price shown assumes a 2hr on-site paint color consultation only. Remodeling color and selections consultations are billed hourly, depends on the scope of the project. I also help you rearrange what you already own to give your home a major refresh without shopping, I have hand drawing and digital illustration skills to help you envision major changes to your home. Renee started helping us with color about 12 years ago and we have been consistently delighted with her guidance. She has an innate gift for color and design that is informed by tons of experience, research, and a real passion for how color affects our moods and lives. She guided us through 3 interiors (all walls and ceilings), a remodel, 2 exteriors, and recently translated and took rough ideas to design/build images for a book nook and built in beds. Our contractors were comfortable working with the images, and with Renee when needed, to create some amazing new features for our home. Renee's approach is fun and thorough. She hands off great materials to the paint and construction crews, which makes their work faster and much clearer. And that makes us feel more confident when we go from all white walls to color or from a steeply angled ceiling to built in beds. She is able to answer questions as things unfold that require adjustments - from sudden changes in flooring to design complications based on discovering structural surprises - she has always gotten us across the finish line with grace and confidence. On top of all that, she is just a delight to work with!

I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed Renee’s expertise in helping us navigate through the process of choosing colors for our 1901 Victorian farmhouse. She had such a soothing professional demeanor and somehow managed to meld together the colors that my husband and I both liked. I never would have thought any of them would work together, but with her instruction the house turned out phenomenal! Best money we ever spent. She is also very fun to work with and made the whole experience a lot easier. Next up, interior ideas. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her on any project. She’s a ‘color whisperer’!

Thank you for the opportunity, Susan! It was such a pleasure coloring with you and your mom. She has an acute eye for subtle differences in color, so her palette was already a winner. The house and stonework is so cool, and I'm thrilled to help her tweak new paint colors to celebrate its architecture, create symmetrical balance, coordinate with the landscaping, and uncover architectural details she didn't know she had, both in front and back. I am always passionate about saving stone/brickwork from getting painted over, which makes it look plastic and fake...like LEGOs. Finding a new color to put next to stone or brick changes the eye's perception of it's color and allows that lovely textural contrast to live on into its next generation as an important architectural accent. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you both. Such a treat!

Renee is amazing. We hired her for the exterior paint design of our house about 5 years ago. To this day, I love pulling into my driveway and seeing my house. Most recently, we asked for Renee’s help with the interior colors of our house. She knows how to work with your preferences and style while also giving you ideas that stretch your imagination. We’re putting in a really dark wall in our living room. I never would have thought it would work, but once Renee mocked it up for me, I was sold.

Renee came back to my house after phase I - her color consultation on the exterior siding. First of all LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors. Many a neighbor while walking has stopped to say how much they like the house. Today we assessed what I have, and I received more efficient and expert consultation on a variety of projects - like repainting the ceiling, how the back building exterior fits with the main house and options, how the yard interacts with the house colors, and how to address some areas on the front entrance to make it more welcoming
