2022 - we are honored to have been named Best of Houzz for the 10th year in a row. This is also a milestone year where we reached 68 Reviews - Wow! Creating beautiful spaces for amazing people! We are all looking for ways to make our homes more beautiful, comfortable and functional. We start thinking about painting a room or two, adding a few more pieces of art, some plants, or maybe it’s time for THAT kitchen or bath remodel. We want something that looks fresh and clean, but not contrived or over-the-top. We start watching The Property Brothers and Love It or List It. We look at shelter magazines like Sunset, Oregon Home or House Beautiful. If we’re internet savvy we start reading the home design blogs, we might even start a Pinterest mood board. We’re excited and exhilarated, but it’s confusing and we don’t know where to start. Now more than ever, we need to create beauty, comfort and function in our homes. A positive experience from the day Caryl and Kat first came to our home, to the day their photographer recorded our finished master bath. Caryl and Kat provided ideas, guidance, assurance and a sense of trust. We are novices. We needed and were so appreciative of their design skills, ideas and their clear timeline for each step of our project. They answered questions and helped us make decisions. Their subcontractors were timely, worked efficiently and were pleasant to have in our home. Through the entire process we felt as though guided by trusted friends. What a fun project! Our experience with CK Hoffman Design, Caryl & Kat, was like working with friends; only these friends knew what they were doing. This was the fourth remodel since having our home built 45 years ago. It was a full kitchen and family room remodel. It was by far the best and our favorite one. We know what we like when we see a completed room setting but we can’t put it together. Kat was patiently there to help us with all design decisions until we found just the right combinations. Caryl was very knowledgeable of kitchen appliances and suggested just the right ones for our kitchen. They were available, positive, kind and just fun people to be around. We miss seeing them every day. Because they put so much thought, time, organization, and advanced ordering of products, prior to demo day, the project went as scheduled. They provided us with a two-month calendar of a daily work schedule so we always knew who was coming and what was being done. That was a tremendous help. We had no idea who to hire for all the necessary jobs; we didn’t need to…CK Hoffman Design has years of experience working with subcontractors. They have established a trusted, talented, and reliable team they know will work hard, adding to the success of whatever project they are working on. We highly recommend CK Hoffman Design. As someone who has no knack for decorating, and I mean none, Caryl and Kat did a terrific job figuring out what I wanted and making it happen. They helped me transform several outdated and worn areas of my 31-year-old home into places of beauty, style, and functionality. After assessing what areas I most wanted to update and what I might like, they presented me with options that fit my budget. An update to my master bath, powder room, and a couple of smaller areas was sorely needed. I am so pleased with the results! Caryl and Kat were on top of the project each step of the way, and now it feels like my home is brand new. It’s amazing what a difference a few changes can make. It was wonderful working with these ladies! Thank you, Caryl and Kat!!

They have great relationships with all their subcontractors and we’re very good about keeping us informed and the project on schedule. They helped us with some strategic and cost-effective updates to our kitchen and main living areas to make our house feel refreshed. Caryl and Kat were wonderful to work with - as someone who has her own ideas about what she wanted, they were accommodating and helped me narrow down my choices. Her subcontractors were great and Caryl has very high standards for expectations for them. They were very good at monitoring the project and kept me informed about any delays or changes in schedule. Caryl also suggested good changes for my project I had not considered which made the end product much nicer. It was very helpful to work with a team of professionals who had good ideas and were so communicative.
