Black Diamond Experts was founded by Dan James as an electrical contractor in 2008. He started with only his tools, truck and trailer and one apprentice. He was working from a makeshift office in Pleasant Grove. The company centered on providing residential electrical services and highly specialized restaurant remodels. As more customers referred Black Diamond Experts to their friends and family, the company began to grow and serve more people along the Wasatch Front. Black Diamond Experts has grown to be one of Utah’s premier home service companies, employing over thirty full-time electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians and an ample office staff. Chris came out to do install a waterline for my fridge. Not only was he extremely friendly and professional, he listened to my concerns and worked around my needs. His attention to detail on the job was incredible and he went above and beyond with helping me move appliances out of the way and back and making sure everything he touched was better than he found it. I can't recommend Chris and Black Diamond enough. A+++!

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Chris Sullivan arrived at the scheduled time to give me an estimate on replacing my old furnace and water heater and installing central air. Chris listened to my needs and took the time to explain in detail what services would be provided and at a very reasonable rate. The crew, Justin Koontz, William Schnitzler and Mike Pledger arrived at the scheduled time and completed this huge project in one day. I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, hard work and friendly service these guys provided and I will be using them moving forward for all my heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical needs. Black Diamond has a life-long customer here!

Friendly, respectful, trustworthy and affordable. Two thumbs up for Heather, Kyle and Black Diamond. From the moment Heather answered the phone she sounded confident, knowledgeable and compassionate. She also kept me informed about the expected arrival time of Kyle and any financial obligations I may be walking into. You also couldn't have sent a better electrician and person to my house last night. I always felt respected and cared about. Kyle's ability to balance professionalism and humor made me feel better about the situation my family was in. The service he provided was excellent but the real icing on the cake was the value and relationship he built for himself and Black Diamond as a whole. On a 5-star rating scale I would give him a 10 if I could. Thank you!

I can't say enough about this company there where so good to me . There where so nice on the phone when I made the appointment . And they came right away and looked at the problem and got busy fixing it . They had to call a man with a snake and he was also so prompt . Our problem we had we had been working on it for two days and they had the problem fixed in less than 2 hours and that was so great . I will definitely use this company again . They really got us out out of a jam. So reasonable too.

Thanks to Black Diamond our water heater issue was rectified in a snap. As always, we were given an immediate response and prompt service after placing an SOS call to Black Diamond. Joel identified the problem and had us back in hot water in no time. He was professional, and got the job done. Besides the water heater, he went the extra mile to repair an unrelated, separated pipe joint to our sump-pump. We sincerely thank Joel and Black Diamond for always giving top-rate service.

I am so happy with the work that Black Diamond did for me. They arrived quickly and were able to replace 3 rooms of outdated outlets in a very short time frame. These outdated outlets were causing such a headache because they were worn out and the power chords would fall out without much effort. The Black Diamond team that came was also able to fix the broken doorbell and even went above and beyond to check on a leak. These guys were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. It gave me confidence in their knowledge that they were able to answer so many of my questions and address my concerns with an older home and happily do so. Black Diamond was the best price around on top of everything else. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I bought a home electrical inspection from Black Diamond Electric. The serviceman who came out did a very thorough job and answered many questions we had about our new home. I never felt pressured to have any service performed. He left us with a detailed list of things that were in good shape and things that should be done in the future.
