We feel so lucky to have found Alison Whittaker Design. Alison is professional at every turn. She listens closely and you never feel rushed. Her team is equally top notch. We hired Alison to help remodel our kitchen — she made the process much easier to navigate and less overwhelming. We highly recommend her to help take the stress out of the experience. Alison has excellent taste. Exceptional. She showed us materials we did not know existed. Our favorite part of our kitchen is the countertop Alison picked out for us. We run our hands over it and admire it every day. Thanks to Alison's great relationships with the vendors in the area we were able to get our materials quickly (even ones that were very high in demand). Alison also has a keen eye for color. She helped us with paint colors in our newly remodeled kitchen and throughout our house, as well as cabinet and grout colors ... and every single one is spot on. We look forward to our next project!

S Cast

We worked with Alison and her team on a remodel at our house. We had a concept after staying at a house and she listened, iterated and was able to help us design and manage the project! We ended up installing 18 feet of sliding glass doors that pocket in the wall, built a wine room, added built-in tv/shelving and bought all new furniture for the new space. In the end the indoor/outdoor feeling of the room turned out amazing. Alison and team were great at helping us decide on finishes, fabrics, colors, etc. She also worked great with the contractor to keep the project on point! Overall I would highly recommend Alison and team for any size project!

It was a pleasure to work with Alison. Her eye for details and furniture dimension for a room are exceptional. She helped us to update the inside of our home and integrated existing furniture as well as recommended new pieces that changed the flow and use of our space. We love our new space. Alison and her staff are very professional and fun and easy to work with and we loved her ideas and great taste. Can't wait for the next project

I worked with Alison and her team on the redesign and complete remodel of our 4,000+ square foot home. Alison helped me completely redesign the space including a 400+ square foot addition. Alison created the most amazing and creative cabinet designs for our akwardly shaped living room, our newly constructed office with 14 foot ceilings, our large kitchen and our newly created laundry-mud room. She expertly married together beautiful design and high function. In addition, Alison helped us redesign our previously dated and dark master bathroom to take advantage of our beautiful backyard views and redesigned our guest bath and powder room with a custom updated look. Alison and her team also assisted us with furniture and rug layout and purchases, tile, stone and cabinet finish selections, custom window coverings, draperies and bench cushions, lighting placement and fixture slections, as well as all paint and stain color choices. She helped us create a beautiful and functional home that allows us to work, play and entertain in style. Alison and her team are amazing to work with. They are extremely talented and very professional, thorough and detailed in their work. In addition they were pleasant, friendly and flexible in working with me, my architect, builder, cabinetmaker and other outside suppliers. Working with Alison Whittaker Design was a top notch, five star, full service design experience and I can not recommend them highly enough.

I worked with Alison on my home remodel which consisted of adding an additional 650 sq ft to our home. We moved both the kitchen and the dining room to the addition while adding a second living room also to the addition. Alison has become indispensable to our remodel. Her design expertise combined with her expertise in reading architectural plans and discussing those plans with the GC proved invaluable to our overall design. Alison has a way of always making your project her priority, she always makes time for her clients. I honestly cannot say enough about how highly I value her and the work she does. I know our home would not be as beautiful as it is today without her on our team.

Alison and her team did a tremendous job for us in our new home. We completely refurnished and re-decorated the downstairs - entry, family room, dining room - and also remodeled the kitchen. Alison created the design for the new kitchen cabinets, island and backsplash and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I have worked with Alison on 3 projects: my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The rooms were done a few years ago, and I still get compliments as if they just done. Last month I was even asked again to have our kitchen on the local tour after all these years. Alison has an exquisite taste level, is creative, and great at communication and working within the given budget. It is not often that I can find someone so gifted in design that is also easy to get along with, listens attentively, keeps to a budget, and achieves incredible results.
