Everything starts with small beginnings, and in 1944 Shaw Electric opened its doors in Davenport, Iowa. Over the years, the small family owned electrical company transformed into an industry leader and expanded by adding a new division, Light Expressions by Shaw, offering lighting fixtures, fans and home accessories. Today, the Shaw companies continue to be grounded in family values and ownership. Robert and Laura Shaw and Steve and Shelli Shaw have renamed the company Shaw Interiors. Their vision is to bring more value to their customers with design services and one-stop shopping to make the remodeling and building process as seamless as possible. Shaw Interiors thrives on inspiring design, personal relationships, regional roots, and a family atmosphere that is encouraged at every level of the company. If the past 70 plus years are any indication, it is with great pride and excitement that they set their sights on the horizon and extend their commitment to their employees and customers.
