To replace too tall stools and connect with dr table (red)
Screen porch dining
19” seat height, 20” wide, leather, simple, price
Classic for Library?
For the library? Light, ethereal, calm
Wine glass chandelier for wine room?
This might be my favorite for the Media room
Media...studio? Needs ceiling kit, comes in other sizes(smaller)
Look what I just found for $215 vs $299! The Lamps Plus order has shipped, but this time it has free return, so should I order this? Got to be the same, right?
Fanciful...Media room?
Think it might work in media room?
Fireside & head chairs can’t tell colors (smoke = oyster) but good lines for both purposes
Style, looks comfy, studded ok
Yet another candidate! Not sure about vessel sink...I love the look and feel, but the flat counter and sunken sink are maybe better....anyway, the cabinet looks great and the description implies decent quality
And here is this one with a left hand counter, in dark grey
Jorie this one is pretty, but doesn't have the cupboard and the top drawers may be tit-outs, like in a kitchen.
Really like this one - it has a more tailored design but I suspect the 'drawers' are another cupboard space. J: Look at the last little “bird’s eye” photo. Looks like the drawers are drawers, with top one divided. I thought the “tailored” look was excellent. Sink looks nice and deep, too. J2: THIS MAY BE A GOOD OPTION, SINCE COUNTER ISN’T DRILLED? THERE’S A WHITE VERSION TOO, ALTHOUGH THE GREY SEEMS HANDSOMER. OF COURSE, WE CAN’T BE SURE WHAT GREY IT IS....
this one might be the best in terms of places to hide your things. J: Yes, plenty of storage, and all out of sight!. Similar in look to the Koehler one we saw. J2: THE PRICE FOR THIS HAS GONE UP SINCE YESTERDAY, BUT I DO LIKE THE CABINET AS WELL OR BETTER THAN OTHERS, IF IT’S POSSIBLE TO JUST GET THE CABINET, OR TO GET WITH THE TOP DRILLED FOR SINGLE HOLE? OR, I DON’T MIND (IN SOME WAYS PREFER) TWO LEVERS TO SINGLE CONTROL (NEVER SEEMS TO GET THE TEMP RIGHT), SO IF THAT MAKES IT EASIER TO FIND AND IT ISN’T INTRINSIC TO OUR DESIGN, CAN WE CONSIDER 3 HOLES?
Think something along the lines of this fun rug would be cool for the media room. Wouldn’t want an actual animal, mind you, but a good faux appeals. SENDING YOU A SAMPLE OF SOMETHING WE LOVE ... FAUX, OF COURSE!
Desperate to have something to sit on at the counter, I have ordered some inexpensive stools that look similar to these (but swivel!) that Steve & I both liked, and he can use in the wine room once we are ready to get “real” with the kitchen. OKAY GREAT.
Really like the wood finish on the vanity...and there’s the herringbone! OKAY, TOBACCO BROWN .. NOT TOO RED. I ALSO HAVE A LIGHT BUT WARM SAMPLE OF A HERRINGBONE MARBLE, SMALLER SCALE TO SHOW YOU NEXT.
Like the built in bench in this...another example of that marble hex tile. JORIE I NOTE THAT MOST OF YOUR BATHROOMS ARE MARBLE HEAVY AND FAIRLY FORMAL. WONDERING IF YOU INTEND THAT? WOULD HAVE SUGGESTED SOME LESS FORMAL IDEAS TO YOU FOR THE FINISHES. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU SEE IT!
Clever use of space that might be good for the vanity that’s next to east wall? (Maybe only the upper part, as a med. cabinet? IF WE DO THIS, IT WILL SHRINK THE SIZE OF THE VANITY & COUNTERTOP. THE SPACE FOR THIS - WHILE REALLY CLEVER - REQUIRES ROOM, AND NOW WE HAVE BOTH VANITIES SIZED EQUALLY IN A VERY SYMMETRICAL LAYOUT. SO, THIS WOULD THROW OFF THE SYMMETRY.
Like the wall color...could that work in the library? Like the combo with “old wood” vanity, also the floor tile pattern reminds me of the rug that Steve likes best for master (pale blue & cream “quilt” stars) WE HAVE THE RUG SAMPLES HERE NOW THAT WE DISCUSSED FOR THE LIBRARY AND THE MASTER BEDROOM; THE PASTEL MULTI-COLORED ONE IS GORGEOUS AND IS MUCH SOFTER, MORE SOPHISTICATED THAN THE ONLINE PHOTO. AND WE ALSO HAVE THE PALE BLUE STAR AS WELL, WHICH IS ALWAYS A GREAT RUG.
Nice herringbone tile floor! Pretty greys. Don’t want to go to “gold” tone fixtures, lovely as these look now! OKAY I SEE A THEME HERE! HERRINGBONE FLOOR TILES IT IS.
Arrangement of mirrors/lights & style of vanity YOUR VANITIES ARE ALREADY SEPARATED. I LIKE THIS TOO, JORIE - THE VANITY FEATURES DRAWERS, SO THE TOP ONE WILL BE SEPARATED TO ACCOMMODATE THE PLUMBING - BUT THIS IS A FINE WAY TO GO. CAN BE 'OLD WOOD' AND A TAD WARMER IN COLOR.
Think the wave is very cool. Steve like the dark blue tile. On its own or in combo with Aqua WELL, I WOULD SKIP THIS ONE AS A TRENDY DESIGN THAT WILL LOOSE IT'S APPEAL OVER TIME I THINK. MAY BE BEST TO KEEP THINGS CLASSIC. DARKER TILE APPRECIATION NOTED HOWEVER.
Tub with smaller deck set in window Also color is lovely...tile like the “sand” one I liked at studio Steve like the warm off white paint color I LIKE THE WARMER WHITES MIXED WITH COOLER TONES MYSELF. THE BAY WORKS WITH THE TUB BECAUSE IT HAS A SMALLER FOOTPRINT, SO TUB FITS INTO THE SPACE OF THE BAY. YOUR ARCHITECTURE IS DIFFERENT. THIS ROOM IS FORMAL, TOO.
Like the colors and overall feel, could see two single vanities like these. Nice contrast of dark & light. Steve & I both like the mix of blues in the backsplash (Berkshire lake!) WATERY BLUES NOTED!
Like the open storage ...maybe in closet (smaller version of course) or in the walk in space? PERFECT. SHALLOW, OPEN STORAGE IS THE MOST USEFUL!
Nice cabinets. Like the simple style. Steve & I both like the wallpaper in the toilet area. Steve likes the paint color I LIKE THE BATHROOM DIRECTION OVERALL HERE - UPDATED BUT STILL SIMPLE, NOT TOO HEAVY OR TOO TRADITIONAL. WALLPAPER IS GREEN, SO YOU LIKE IT BUT PERHAPS IN BLUES?
Like the idea of the tub inside the shower DO YOU WANT US TO CHANGE THE LAYOUT WE AGREED TO?
Love the “old wood” vanities and the mirrors with sconces (MUST have side lighting!) YES! EVEN LIGHT FROM THE SIDE IS A MUST! Steve likes the wood also, (but both dislike the big open space under that reveals plumbing) THIS IS CALLED A 'WASH-STAND' VANITY, AND I LOVE THE OPEN SHELF/PLUMBING, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO BE FASTIDIOUS WITH YOUR TOWEL FOLDING, AND YOUR BELONGINGS, ON THE OPEN SHELF TO BE HAPPY WITH HOW THIS LOOKS - DAY TO DAY. IF YOU ARE THAT WAY, THIS IS A GREAT LOOK.
Like the sink protruding from counter. Great efficiency over all YES, AND WE HAVE A SMALL HALL BATH WE ARE DOING RIGHT NOW WITH JUST SUCH A 'PROTRUDING' SINK.
Like the stone floor of shower (we did this in our daughter’s bath for the whole room, which was too much, but loved it for the shower) Tile (glass?) on wall is nice color (“Berks. Lake”). The light wood (bamboo?) vanity appeals also. Steve does not like the stone floor, but he really likes the blues in the wall tile. BLUE TILES NOTED! DO NOT HAVE TO BE GLASS TO GET THE SOFT EFFECT - CAN BE GLAZED CERAMIC. HARD TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE ONCE IT'S UP.
Love the wall color! (Maybe we should do that in the kitchen?) Cab’s are like the kitchen too. THIS NAVY BLUE IN YOUR KITCHEN WOULD ADD GREAT VISUAL CONFUSION TO A SPACE WITH TOO MANY RADIOS PLYING, ALREADY. YOU HAVE NOT GOT ENOUGH WALL SPACE INT HERE - BUT LET'S NOTE THE HIGH CONTRAST IDEA (NOT BLUE) FOR AN AREA (TELEPHONE HALLWAY?) OF THE KITCHEN IF WE CAN GET IT TO WORK!
Love the wall tile, and the prices on the free standing tub seem reasonable? Aqua/sky tile with grey is very pretty. If we do peach/pink & grey in MBR? WE HAVE MADE SEVERAL RICH GIRL BATHROOMS USING TUBS FROM SIGNATURE HARDWARE AND THE PRICES ARE TERRIFIC. I'LL FORWARD A COMMENT WE GOT FROM A NEW HUSBAND LAST WEEKEND ABOUT HIS SOAK!
Like the VERY pale aqua on vanity and the tile “rugs” seems like nice way to get in “non slip” texture YES. BUT THE HERRINGBONE WILL ALSO PROVIDE A NON-SLIP SURFACE, THE SCALE I HAVE HERE. ALSO LOVE THE SOFT COLOR ON THE VANITY...
Like the “repurposed” old wood (look?) on walls. Interesting pattern of tile in shower floor
LOVE the textured glass partition. YES. ALSO FROSTED IS GREAT, AND QUIETER. Especially for toilet, but good for shower, too (so Steve doesn’t have to squeegee!) Pretty shape to tub
Cool mixed color tile pattern! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TILES! I HAVE THEM HERE IN THE STUDIO... Pretty shaped tub, but maybe not the most comfortable for back? Love the elegant wall with shelf. Makes me think we could build out a section of the window sill next to tub as shelf that wouldn’t intrude, but would give place for plant and bath things? LOOK AT THE FLOOR PLAN; NOT ENOUGH ROOM.
This was the “bubble/drop” I liked best, but it doesn’t show up in the “price tags”....maybe just as well! NOT BAD - $345. AVAILABLE ON HOUZZ. ROOM IS COLD.
I think this was “I don’t like anything but the bubble bath in this”! Too fussy YES, AGREED!
Pretty pale lavender/grey. Like the flooring. REALLY LOVE THIS ONE - THE RIGHT CHARM MIXED WITH A SOFT PALETTE; WOULD LOOK BETTER WITH A WARMER HERRINGBONE FLOOR THOUGH!
SINK!
FEELS TOO MOD FOR YOUR PLACE - ?
Nice warm grey, like the style of vanities and extra shelf. Also the mirror + sconce works nicely (seems like everyone’s doing the tall rectangle mirror with those same sconces now!) faucets are nice too THIS VANITY WOULD BE A HAPPY COMPROMISE FROM A WASH-STAND VS. A DOOR/DRAWER VANITY - HAS BOTH A SHELF AND COVERED STORAGE.
Gorgeous wall, whatever that is! Also like the bowl sinks...these seem to be spacious enough. Steve agrees on both aspects ITALIAN TILE WALL. I THINK THESE ARE DURAVIT SINKS.
MAY BE TOO MODERN FOR YOUR HOUSE.
Back lit mirrors kind of cool YES THEY ARE! WILL ADD DEPTH AND HEFT TO WALL BEHIND THE VANITY MIRRORS BETWEEN SHOWER/TOILET ROOM AND VANITY. OTHER WAYS TO GET THE LOOK IF WE DON'T HAVE THE ROOM.
Pretty finish on vanities YES.
Lovely cabinet wood, simplicity
Kitchen counter...swivel returns!
