Prep station lowered like this, with four outlets where the counter dips down, like the one in the pic. Maybe keep it all granite, though. End grain butcher block good, too. Dishwasher on the far side of the sink, with the appliance cabinet right next to the prep station where the dishwasher is in this pic. (it's on the opposite side of the island in our scenario)
57" pantry. It's a start...
I like this door for the coffee bar, only wider. Add a grinder, sugars, creamers, and Torani syrups, and we're set! Coffee mugs, coffee beans and K cups would go in cabinets above. Craig talked about having the stuff on a pull out, which would be great.
Ok, I can see the benefit of having this for cookie sheets and muffin tins, if we have a spot for this somewhere.
Ok, this is the bomb. Hands free wastebasket opening is perfect for when my hands are covered in food. This goes at the kitchen end of the island. I like this single can basket, if it leaves room for Costco sized garbage bag box.
The mixer lift sticks out kind of far. With the limited space we have, should this be on the living room side of the island? If it's between the island and the other cabinets, will we be able to move around between it and the cabinets? On the other hand, it's probably best practice to use the lift just to store and lift the mixer, but actually use the mixer on the countertop. It would be more stable and less messy that way. It could still remain plugged in inside the cabinet.

Blind corner optimization is a must have. I prefer this style over the curvy cloud style pull outs, like both KitchenCraft and Rev a Shelf also offer. I like this waaaaay better than lazy Susans.
one of these for foil, parchment, saran wrap, etc
This would fit most of our cookware, but not all. Will want large drawers for stoneware, largest skillets, wok, cast iron pieces, etc. Need to know drawer weight limits.
Something like this will be nice, I think.
I've been wondering where we'll store the step ladder!
