Satin Bronze Satin bronze has a nice, smooth finish that’s in between copper and oil-rubbed bronze. Having a subtler color gives this finish more flexibility for different bathroom styles and settings. Advantages: Durable and easy to clean and maintain, this is a great alternative to copper and a lighter option than oil-rubbed bronze. Water spots and fingerprints won’t show. Disadvantages: Harder to find and more expensive. It’s hard to match accessories and other fixtures to satin bronze. Styles it works with: Traditional, eclectic and Mediterranean.
Polished Brass An all-time favorite. A polished brass faucet helps give the bathroom shown here a vintage look. Advantages: Easy to clean and easy to find. A durable finish. Easy to match with accessories and other fixtures. Disadvantages: More expensive than other finishes, such as chrome and brushed nickel. Styles it works with: Polished brass has come back in style in recent years, so it looks great in modern, traditional and eclectic settings.
Add a dash of personalization. Bringing decorative items that you love into the room will make it feel more special. Personally, I love displaying framed photos of my children and dogs, as well as scented candles that remind me of Hawaii, a small tray of favorite perfumes that signify different stages of my life and the special vase that my husband gave me for an anniversary. It’s motivated me to keep my counters clean and clear so my sentimental items remain the headliners.
What about if I went white instead of navy on the cabinet??? White finishes can make any space look bigger, but they’re especially effective in a bathroom. Since a bathroom typically has lots of white fixtures already (the tub, toilet and sink, for example), using white for other surfaces creates a seamless look that makes the space appear as airy as possible.
Wrapping the tub.
Think About Converting Your Tub to a Shower If you don’t take baths but have a bathtub, that’s basically a 5-foot by 2½-foot area that’s going to waste. Converting it to a shower would be cost effective, because it would make use of the space that’s already there and you wouldn’t have to reroute the plumbing.
A little designer secret is that because bathrooms are usually smaller spaces, splurging on a few higher-end materials and finishes can be a good investment that can make your space seem incredibly luxurious. So before you issue a mandate that your bathroom will feature only the most basic, affordable materials, look at materials for wall and floor coverings, countertops and more on the higher end of the spectrum. You might find that adding one or more of these materials to a small portion of your bathroom is within your budget.
Plan a Lighting Scheme The best approach to a well-lit space is to incorporate layers of task, accent, ambient and decorative lighting. Consult with your bathroom designer or lighting specialist about getting your lighting right.
All of the small bathrooms have small sized mirrors.
Most of the pictures with the shower curtain open have the open on the "busy" side - the side with the toilet and sink.
Shower curtain open on the toilet side. Opens it up a bit.
This is almost what I want, just different colors. Large wallpaper. dark cabinet, smallish mirror. They open it up with a glass enclosure on the shower. Might consider that. Marble countertop with square sink.

Love the organic look of the branch with a towel hanging from it.
Yep navy and white. Could trim out the mirror with gold or wood frame. The wood would be nice and organic. Like the green branches in the white vase. Would look nice over the toilet.
Still liking the navy cabinet, but now liking it with white. Thinking about painting the room white. Simple - navy and white, brass trims, and throw in some wood and greens to make it less austere.
Grohe also added finishes to its Essence faucet collection. This photo shows the new L-size lavatory centerset faucet in brushed brass; another finish is hard graphite, which looks similar to black stainless but is a bit lighter.
Wood and white. Notice the green and white plants and the turquoise beachy print, which I like. Turquoise towels? White towels? Soft green towels? Have noticed most of the floors have been dark, so maybe a dark rug?
Wood and white bathroom
Wood and white. Absolutely think about ditching the navy and go with what I have. Not paint the cabinets. Thinking which should be best embrace the chrome or brighten it with gold.

Maybe I'm going in the wrong direction with the navy. Maybe I should embrace the wood and add more green. I notice the shower curtain is open on the faucet side.
Love the aquamarine tiles - wood shelving and white towels and countertops. Very soothing bathroom. https://www.houzz.com/products/tile/color--Turquoise
The mirror going all the way to the top, dark wood cabinets, and lots and lots of white.
Like the idea of countertop cabinets in either of the bathrooms.
The light colored wood
Hale Navy
Dark cabinet, white countertops, brass mirror, chrome fixtures, but mostly love the white vase with tall green branches.
Dark/white/brass - again
Dark cabinets, white countertop, dark frame around the mirror, brass finishes.
Navy wall
Muted blue cabinets with bright white quartz countertops
Don’t think rugs are fit for the bathroom? While a moist space does have its considerations, a durable rug can make an excellent addition to a bathroom — like a bath mat, but with more style. Besides giving you a cushy place to plant your feet (especially appreciated on cold winter mornings), a rug can also add some color, pattern and texture, making it a decor triple threat. Olefin is a good material for bathroom rugs because it appears similar to wool, but as a synthetic, it won’t absorb water.
