kitchen
Cabinets / basic look I’d like for the kitchen - perhaps some of the cabinets can be sage green (ish) and white or one cabinet sage green as an accent amongst all white and cream?
They could be perfect to make the kitchen island you want
Also note lighting (love these bulbs) and also the exposed beam (you need to check quality of yours and whether it’s wood or concrete - are they okay enough to be reinforced and not have to be replaced? Can we paint for effect?) Also note the wiring pipes/cabling in copper on the ceiling. Exposed - like when you met with Florian & Arnaud.
I love the feeling of this kitchen! Small but cozy and packed with storage and display options. Love the fridge and also that it has a small dishwasher. Good example of the vibe of my kitchen - with the exception being that I want whites and creams with shades of green but not as much wood. Otherwise, this is perfect! ❤️❤️
Yes please! Also probably a more economical option! No desire for wall cabinets? You can keep the kitchen feeling open and spacious with a stack of shelving, tailored to cater to your exact storage needs. Don’t waste an inch: use the underside of the shelves to suspend rails and hooks, and don’t plan to stand or stack anything that can be hung up instead (mugs and wine glasses, for example). Keep the whole area looking good by finding coordinating accessories to display.
Love the use of a small space but with tons of storage solutions! Love the Belfast sink of course but also open cabinets and shelving! Especially given how many dishes and glasses you have!!!!
I LOVE THIS! Floor to ceiling blackboard!!!!! Island with stools, quirky, making use of a small kitchen. Great ideas here that could work in our kitchen.
Love this idea - paint the island??!!
SMEG appliances!! And would you call those skylights of "architectural openings"??
Lovely cozy overall feeling! Blue bottles, flowers on table, lovely!
Belfast sink!!! Lovely tiling and set up
Kitchen tiles around stove!!
Ultimately, this is the sink you want - a Belfast sink with two separate basins!
I like how the Smeg color matches the rest of the kitchen decor - but that's pretty much it...
This is the kind of deep sink I want for the kitchen!
Nice example of a white vintage-y stove if you choose to go that route...
rangemaster.co.uk for different options then find European distributor. Nice colour options - may be cool to have white and green design for whole kitchen but then throw a black stove into the mix - especially if you go with a black and white checked tile floor!!?
Good example of the stove/cooker being placed in an old fireplace!
Brilliant way to store cook books, away from stove and protected from grease and dust and moisture of cooking atmosphere. If you decide to do a kitchen island, do one with this kind of storage beneath. You'll probably need the extra storage anyway for all the kitchen wares
Love this tile, but potentially for kitchen, not bathroom like in this image
Gorgeous tile work!
Marble topped kitchen island?
Space saving tip in the kitchen: To save money, we decided to get the cabinets and drawers from Ikea [you can’t buy new fronts for the old carcasses as the size has changed]. So we ordered new carcasses to get a layout that’s similar to the old one, except that we chose drawers instead of cupboards wherever possible. It’s more practical to pull a big, deep drawer out completely and get a full view of everything than to crouch down and put your entire upper body into a cabinet to dig for a measuring cup.”
