BV - FP Wall (Main)
Floating media cabinet below floating TV on stone wall. Also ... Size & color of stone. Mix of med/large to small, horizontal rectangular shape, sort of flat/sort of "cut face" texture, small/med grout/mortar lines. Found this under a "Contemporary Natural" search. Think this is nice compromise between rustic & contemporary. Also, like the lighter floor.
Floating cabinets .... with lighting underneath!
Shelving under hearth
An insert of slate that would match sunroom floor (if do slate out there?) Or just same material. Could lay up some shutters as decor .. sometime in future .... (to look like western (barn) or european (like these).
Lighting
Bump out (sort of) niche - on side - for components??
Balance. Placement of art. Vertical panel. Replace art on right with TV. Use light colored paneling. Mantle for fp?? OR ... Mantle out of same material (or same color) to keep eye from jumping?? Or a "western style chunky mantle, simple, between columns?
Travertine, either smooth or rough (forgot right word) strips/ledgestone.
Like the wood, mantel, & stone (is a BL Rieke house) Lets just do this & be done with it! :-) (And leave ceiling fan in front of FP ... or still relocate it??
Perhaps a soffit something like this in the GR to help frame out the media/fp wall???
Sort of like this, but with TV & no glass shelves. More rustic mantle.
Wood plus stacked stone plus lighting plus storage

6. Install speakers and dimmers. A bright and quiet kitchen may be ideal for the everyday, but parties are quite the opposite. Lights are dimmed, and music gets turned up. Dimmers are easy to install, and they give good ambience for a party. This kitchen has a nearby television and speakers, so guests and cooks can keep their eye on the game while hanging out in the kitchen. How to Install a Dimmer Switch
